I would advise you not to overthink about the results of your application,I do pray, they finalize all the applications in 6 months, but its advisable not to expect quick results or keep high expectations from London.Keep yourself busy in your daily routines, trust me it will become unbearable if you expect an update or an email from London or CIC
Again with good faith I wish all applicants receive their PRs in time.

Will try ... but I guess my luck led me to read the thread of the applicants who are stuck at IP2 ... you would find out that most applicants moved from IP1 to IP2 in hours or maximum 4 days ...

I wish if I didn't learn about the meaning of IP1, IP2, NA1 and 2 .... but must confess I am pleased to find you here guys and feel as a normal person ... I sounded crazy while explaining my to my friends about IPs and NAs ... :D

I had dreams like those last night. :(
My last night dream was a call from CIC telling me that I submitted the files in wrong format .. and the agent told me that I hired a stupid office to submit my application ... but yes, we need to stay positive :D

Trust me these dreams will get intense as time pass, you will have nightmares about your PCC dates, that you choose wrong NOC code, what if they dont accept your ECA report,Damn I think i forgot to mention one address I lived in,some thing little that you concealed will make you go crazy,Passport and etc,so many seniors have mentioned this IP1 and IP2 thing is not real, and we should not worry about these, and for some infact IP2 never come and they jump straight to PPR.If you search forums, you will find out its also mentioned Who have long IP1,will have considerably short IP2,and vice versa. So in any case you are good, its just if status changes we have a peace of mind our file is looked at and we certainly wont think we are in a limbo, this is where CIC is not good at.

We need to turn this thread to a more positive environment so we can survive this long looong process LOL :D

I suggest that we share some tips about "forgetting and getting busy" for a change ...

For me, I joined a gym recently and obsessing over squash ... I find my head so clear of any disturbing thoughts related to the immigration process when I play squash (+ I am losing weight as a bonus LOL :D) ... I really do advise you guys to give squash a shot :D ...

So what are guys doing to get over the anxiety of this process? :D

You are so right .. u made me worry about things I wasn't worried about though lol :) ...
But you are correct, and focussing on positive things is another smart idea, I am happy to support .. For myself, I will have faith that things will turn out fine and I will focus on enjoying my days in Dubai and having quality time with the family and friends members whom I might leave in 6 months time :)

PS: as I read in another threads, they tend to believe that they update our profiles twice a month (either in the beginning of the month or the mid i.e. 1sth or 15th) so more likely nothing will happen until next week .. "based on what I read" ....

Will try and sleep now ... hoping for peaceful dreams/gym , without having the CIC disturbing

Thanks and I appreciate the support I sense here in this thread!

I agree! I wanna watch the first part of pacific rim on netflix before I go for the movies and see the other one tomorrow :D
Well jokes apart I would suggest research the skills / certifications in demand in Canada,So if you are software/computer/telecom engineer, they would not only benefit you there but even in the home country.

My prayers that you and people here soon see that day, when we look back, laugh and say hey we were just needlessly stressing ourselves out.

There is a due date on GCMS notes,it is actually a reminder to VO that certain file should be opened by that date,I had 27th January.

מר אף אחד .. thanks for outgoing encouragement and support ..

Want to ask you if you know where could my application be now? I mean I believe that the emails of the first ITA and of cancelation sent from Ottawa (based on time I received the emails) ... at similar time of the day, I receive the uptake email when I passed the medical exam .. You think after the MEP they send the applications to London or what?

Hi,
How long after applying for GCMS notes, the notes are actually issued? Can anyone mention his/her timeline. When they applied for and what is the issue date on the notes.

Hi
As you are early march AOR,and in IP1,comparing your timelines to mine,I would say your file should have gone through R10 Checks now and would be making rounds of Eligibility at CIO.If your file is transferred to LVO it would take 1.5 to 2 months,if its transferred to CPC Ottawa it would be month and a week. What an application normally follows is R10 checks at IP1 and eligibility at CIO at NA2. Looking at your AOR there are bright chances your file will be processed at Ottawa, since they didn't transferred files to LVO because of backlog i guess,Ottawa is way faster then rest of the world.Once you have completed 2 months order GCMS notes and you will get clear picture, that;s the only piece of document which will bring Peace to the post e-APR restlessness.

Depends when the application is submitted,so e.g. If you apply today, and application is submitted today (electronic),they wil be issued in today's date, but will take 30 days to get to you.
