Hi all, I saw a post on my Facebook timeline from a forum discussion that said medicals and police certificates are now to be submitted with application (Spousal Sponsorship - inland), as opposed to waiting until asked for them from CIC.

Can anyone confirm this change in processing?

Thank you.

No, you cannot do an upfront medical exam. You have to wait until they request it.

The recent change is you are now to submit Schedule A and PCC along with the application.

Thanks. But hasn't Schedule A always been part of the submission of forms. Few years now I see on my older checklist...Can I find PCC info on CIC somewhere so we know what exactly t get from Police (in India.)

Yes, Schedule A has always been a part of it, but until recently you did not submit it upfront...you had to wait until i t was requested.

You can find information about police checks here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp

About the Medical Exam. On the CIC website it says that all family members must take the exam....? I am Canadian, daughter is Canadian (born in India and has not left yet, 6 years old. ) My wife is India. I understand that wife must take exam, but all other family members? My mother-in-law will not be coming to Canada, and that is all family members. Does my daughter also have to take medical?
