It's been over a month and my wife who is my sponsor cant link her application to her CIC account. Is there something im missing or is this standard?

It's been over a month and my wife who is my sponsor cant link her application to her CIC account. Is there something im missing or is this standard?

It certainly isn't uncommon for two reasons.

1. CIC may not have loaded it to their system yet, you normally get an email acknowledging receipt and giving you the UCI and application number. Have you received this yet?

2. Even when you get acknowledged, linking is a 'black art' - I tried 22 times over several days before I succeeded! Some tips on one method of linking that worked for a few people in the link below.

Either the sponsor or the PA (or both if you are so moved!).

We both got UCI numbers. I linked my account but my wife who is my sponsor hasn't been able to link her application. We got our AOR's on February 8th. It might be too late now.
