Hi Simran_77,

Did you got your PR visa.?
Can you pls help also on the same.? like reference letter format
I need reference letter from wipro as well.

Thanks.
Hi Pankaj,

Sure, I will help you as much as I can. I have not yet received PR, I have submitted my application on 20th February, so its still time in PR. I was waiting for some other documents.

Regarding reference letter, I'm assuming here that you are an ex-employee of wipro, then you must have an experience letter along with the relieving letter (for wipro experience letter format check - https://www.slideshare.net/NikunjKapadia/wipro-experience-letter-56000626). The experience letter mentions your name, employee id, job title and your experience. The only thing missing in this letter is the full time employment details. You can contact Settlements team- settlements.wividus@wipro.com and Letters offboarding team letters.offboarding@wipro.com and tell them that you need the reference letter on visa format, which should mention that you were a full time employee. Also ask them to mention weekly working hours which they will deny, but you will at least have a proof that you asked them for weekly working hours. Then you can attach this email with other employment proofs. Thus, the format of letter will be the same as wipro Experience letter, but it will have proof that you were a full time employee. They will not add any additional detail in the letter, they clearly stated me that in their email.

For salary details ask settlements team to provide a salary certificate. Then in your employment proofs attach relieving letter, experience letter, salary certificate, payslip for 3-6 months if you have and email in which they deny mentioning weekly working hours. This much information should suffice. If you do not have payslips attach bank statements highlighting salary details . Hope this helps.

Thank you Simran_77 for such detailed explanations, and sharing the settlement ids.
Also one small doubt as I was WASEin so does this count as well in experience letter? As a WASEin we don't get experience letter but testimonial. Below is the format what i have got.

Date: D/M/Y

Hi,

The letter format you mentioned above seems good as per CIC requirement. There are only two things missing in it - full time employment and salary details. So get a salary certificate for salary details and ask team to add full time in your previously issued letter.

CIC has specifically mentioned that apprenticeship does not count as work experience. So I'm not sure about that. I would suggest before going ahead please check if you experience is valid as per CIC requirement.

Thank you pankaj.. all the best to you too..
Hi Simran_77,

As suggested , i mailed the wipro settlement team for reference letter stating that i was full time employee and to mention weekly working hours but they mailed me saying:
"With regards to below mail, this is to clarify that we don’t assist employees with reference letter. As part of exit we have already shared you testimonial letter and same can be considered for future requirements."

But for Salary Certificate they have redirected to the concerned team to get that.

What should i do now, shall i mail them again saying that it ts required for VISA processing.
Pls suggest?

Thanks,
Pankaj

Hi pankaj,

Here are few suggestions:
1. Don’t ask for reference letter
2. Send them a mail that u have the testimonial letter but it doesn’t mention that you were a full time employee
3. Then ask them if they can reprint the same letter on visa format that do mention that you were a full time employee
4. Attach your experience letter in the mail

My first email was something like this:

I am an ex-employee of Wipro with employee Id ......... I have received both the relieving letter as well as experience letter from the teams just after my separation. However, none of these letters mention that I was a full time employee and worked for 40+ hours per week. Now, I'm applying for Canada Immigration and without these details this experience is invalid for me because I have no way to prove them that I was a full time employee with 40 working hours per week.

Can you please add full time employment details in my experience letter so that i could use it for immigration.

I mailed them again stating the facts mentioned by you they but again they mailed me saying "Since you were part of full time WASE program, we have shared you the testimonial letter. We don’t mention number of working hours in the letter part. Hence request you to consider the same".

I don't think they will provide me again the testimonial letter stating Full Time.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi,

I don't know why they are denying it again and again. Without full time in your experience letter, there are high chances of rejection. So you should try once more. Ask them if they can add at least full time in the letter if not the working hours.

Wipro is crap. Absolute crap.

Couple of my previous employers (who are as big as Wipro) have responded promptly that I have to fill a template (with roles and responsibilities listed) and get an approval from my Manager after which they will issue the letter that I am looking for.

But this bloody Wipro responded to me saying that relieving letter is all they will give and nothing more. Hopeless company!!

Hi Pankaj,
My application is in progress. Medicals passed, no additional documents required and background check in progress which is IP2 as per experienced people and is the last step before passport request... so fingers crossed..

True.. they reissued me experience letter on visa format after so many mails only because i already had the experience letter with roles and responsibilities on it..otherwise they would have denied it..
