I passed my test on March 6th and still no DM. Anybody from Montreal did the test and still waiting for DM/ ECAS update?

My Friend, there are people waiting for their DM in Montreal from January and February. Just be patient. It will eventually come!

It does not matter if you have had the test or not. Your background check will start before you do the test and it might continue even after the test and you don't receive DM for a long time after test.
I have done the test on January 18th in Montreal, No DM yet. Several people have done test after me but already got oath date.
So to make it short, you might end up having oath earlier than others even you have not done your test yet.
Be patient!

And sometimes you can find a guy like me who has attached images of someone else in his document and his correct pictures were gone and CIC doesn't know WHERE! I didn't know should I laughed with officer or be mad!

I am sorry that this has happened to you. I can feel your frustration. Odd cases happen and sadly it happened to you.
Hopefully, they address the issue as soon as possible.

Thank you. I'm sure they will take care of this immediately.
I just wanted to tell everyone that odd cases will happen with CIC as they are moving our documents from Sydney to local offices and from local offices to citizenship test centres (Basically across country). So best thing to do is keep doing what were you doing and forget about checking citizenship status because many things are out of our hands.

I took the test 2 days ago and i passed it: 19/20! I will say 15 questions were very easy and 5 that you have to study the book/apps! Lots of common sense in the answer, so take your time and read carefully! i did it in 5 minutes and 5 minutes to review properly everything! No date and no picture for me!
For the intervew, the woman asked me for the ID that i used for my application and the only question was if i had trouble with justice or police since i send my application! it was very easy and fast! And she said 2-5 month before the oath ceremony.
Test was at 9.02 and at 10.03 i was outside the building!!

My wife passed her test Hamilton. 19/20, she mentioned that test wasn't straight forward at all. anyway in the interview after the test the officer asked to provide police certificate from Jordan as she spent there more than 183 days in the last 4 years. officer told that they will send a letter asking for that police certificate. we already received the police certificate, can she just go and hand it over at the Hamilton office. I tired to find the phone number of Hamilton office but it is not posted anywhere!

hey hey ,, you need to pay attention to the document that you have in your hands ,, first scan it ,, second take a copy of it ,, third you can send it to them via their webform by uploading it ,, and if they accept it at the door ,, yes she can go there and hand it over ,, or even she can send it by registered mail so in this way she can track the envelop ,, best of luck

You can try to walk in? I am not sure, but I saw a guy walk in the office to claim refugee status while I waiting for interview. Bests.

Some offices are open for refugee claims only. On the website they indicate that everyone else requires an appointment.

(Mail delivery may be okay, but in that case make sure you have something they can sign so you have proof of delivery. They may not accept deliveries by anyone other than couriers, so if it's a bit of a trip to go there it may not be worth it -- and mailing it with tracking may be a more effective use of your time.)
