Please help: IMM5481, IMM5482 or IMM1283?

Hi All,

I am looking to sponsor my partner who has no dependents (I also have no dependents) and I am unsure which form(s) is required?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I have no idea what you're talking about.
IMM5481 is a sponsorship evaluation, IMM5482 doesn't exist anymore and IMM1283 is a financial evaluation.

That is why I am confused as I am reading all sorts of things like IMM5482, IMM5481 and IMM1283.

According to the link above, I have looked gone through and there is no mention of any of the forms:

Sponsoring a spouse (no dependent):

Application guide

• Our Basic Guide (IMM 5525) has information on how to prepare and submit your application.
• Detailed information such as how to fill out the forms, is in the Complete Guide (IMM 5289).

• Sponsorship Evaluation and Relationship Questionnaire (IMM 5532) April 2017
• Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] September 2015

For the person being sponsored (principal applicant):

• Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008] October 2017
• Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP] August 2014
• Additional Family Information [IMM 5406] February 2018
• Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] December 2016
• Use of a Representative [IMM 5476] September 2015
