I doing my application forms for SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP (INCLUDING DEPENDENT CHILDREN) and i am not sure if i have to make the form for financial evaluation, we have only 1 child of 3 yrs old and we are living together outside canada, me and my daughter have our PR.

You can’t live outside Canada and sponsor your wife. you must be in Canada to apply.

Sorry there was a mistake in my post because someone post it for me before.

I am a naturalized Canadian Citizen and is living outside Canada, it was written in the Basic guide line that it was possible to someone living outside Canada to Sponsor his/her spouse

Who can become a sponsor

You can become a sponsor if you are:

  • at least 18 years old
  • a Canadian citizen, a person registered in Canada as an Indian under the Canadian Indian Act or a permanent resident living in Canada:
    • If you are a Canadian citizen living outside Canada, you must show that you plan to live in Canada when your sponsored relative(s) become(s) a permanent resident.
    • You can’t sponsor someone if you are a permanent resident living outside Canada
