Entry and exit plus fbi police check

hello there

I am trying to apply for my citizenship. I got my pr and landed on July 17th 2014. I am a US citizen. Got married in August of 2013 and moved to Canada September 2013 as a visitor.
I have been visiting my parents every once in a while and no one has told me to keep records of dates of entry/exits. Where do I get the record from please.
Also do i need to get FBI record from the US and canada? I am so confused.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

As I understand you want your travel records to fill your physical presence calculator. If you can't remember you travel history, you can request you entry to US from CBP and your entry to Canada from CBSA. Canada doesn't keep track of your exits whither you travel by land or air. The US doesn't record you exit if you travel by land (I might be wrong on this point)

• For US

You can get a history of your arrival and departure using the I-94 website https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/ it is fast but some people reported it doesn't have all your trips.
You can also request a FOIA from https://foiaonline.regulations.gov/foia/action/public/request/publicPreCreate create an account and send a request for your entry/exit records. It takes about a month the records.

• For Canada

You can get you travel history from CBSA https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/pia-efvp/atip-aiprp/thr-rav-eng.html it takes up to 30 days to process a request.

Thanks so much. What about police clearance? Do i have to get one? I didn’t live in the states since 2013 September. It was just visits. Once or twice was almost 2 weeks. Other times was a few days here and there.
