Good day,
So I finally passed my meds yesterday and also got another status update that "We do not need additional documents"
Does this mean that I somehow missed IP1 update in my cic account as background check status right now is Not Applicable.
Note: my medical was delayed due to abnormal chest xray on 29th Nov 2017 and I had to appear for lung tests in front of an IOM suggested chest specialist last week, as soon as he cleared me up, my medical was unexpectedly passed. IOM also gave me date for 2nd xray(1st March 2018),so do I need to appear for that now?

This status "We do not need additional documents" normally means your file is transferred to a Local Visa Office,however you can call or email CIC to confirm.
If you receive PPR before 1 March,and your medical certificate will be valid by the time you land in Canada,you can ask IOM if they can delay your chest X-Ray,in other case go for it as CIC might hold on to your application.
P.S : CIC update status are often misleading,so even if they say you passed,or IP1 or NAx,or ADNR,they might change their mind and send a request,but hope for the best.

Guys I need the answer to a question, I've posted this in a few forums and haven't gotten a convincing answer as yet. So, the situation is, I have a 2 years Masters Degree from Australia, a 2 years Masters and a 2 years Bachelors degree from Pakistan. I need my ECA done and I'm aiming for a masters equivalence. Now, should I send all of my degrees or just the highest degree is sufficient? I'm planning to do the ECA through ICES or IQAS and I've emailed them both stating clearly that my aim is to get a masters equivalence to which ICES has clearly replied that I only need to send and pay for my latest degrees and other credentials (in my case masters and bachelors degree from Pakistan) are never added together to get a higher outcome. While in most cases I've seen, for a Paksitani education, most agencies require all post secondary documents. I'm quite confused as to what should I do? I don't want to wait 6-8 weeks by sending my Australian degree, just to get an response that I do not require. Please suggest.
Well here are my 2 cents
1. They will be watching your years of education and then will issue a Canadian equivalent,I haven't checked the sources but logically your 2+2 (16 years) Pak education will account to a 4 year Bs in Canadian and then a 2 year Aus (18 years)will be counted as Masters,I have a Bs (4 years) and an 1 year Masters from abroad,and IQAS assessed me as a Masters.
2.Although in most cases the highest qualification is enough,but in your case get all of your post secondary education assessed,to add extra level of comfort for the Case worker
3.Be patient,assessments now a days are taking time,I got mine in 3 months.
P.S Get all of your documents attested from HEC,in the mean while get your uni in Australia to post your transcript directly to assessment agency,that way your Aussie transcript and your Pak docs will reach one after the other,and will save another month of acknowledgement and then few more weeks to reach case worker.

Guys i have just submmited my Express Entry application i have 379 CRS i know its almost impossible that score will go below 379 so i am looking for the best PNP available right now. My NOC is 0213 , iam immigrating with my wife both of us are under 30 and don't have any dependent kid.
Both of us have Masters degree. kindly guide me with the best possible solution.

Research PNP programs,and if your occupation is included in their list,both of you can apply for Jobs on Canadian Job sites,Try to improve your IELTS scores if they are low,replace your wife as primary applicant and see if that makes a difference in overall score.
Hello all, I got my ITA in the latest round and I want to know how to get my Pakistan PCC. I am working in Dubai currently and originally from Lahore.
would appreciate, if someone can guide me how to go about to get PCC from Lahore. Which police station do I go to where I can submit request. My permanent address is of Lahore which is where I lived and studied.

You do not need to go any police station. They have a facilitation center in Liberty Car Park. Get your forms, fill them and submit there. They will take your photo there and then will do rest of the verification from your concerned police station. You might have to come here yourself for that. However, I would suggest that be very careful about the dates while obtaining PCC i.e. it should cover every single day of your stay in Lahore (Pakistan) even they latest visit (That you might make to obtain PCC) till you leave Pakistan.
