1. Some countries don't even need a visa to visit Singapore. I didn't need one.
2. Email or even call Singapore Police Force before saying people spread false information, you'll save everyone a precious time.
3. Oh wait, Imma copy/paste the email I received from SPF and included in my LOE together with my application.
4. Please stop talking on behalf of SPF.

"Mr xxxxx,

Please note that the Certificate of Clearance (COC) is only issued to persons who have resided at Singapore for a minimum continuous period of 6 months or more under the pass issued by the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) or the work permit issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

We do not issue the COC for social visit or multiple social visits to Singapore.

Regards "
1.Oh well, maybe they were just unwilling to 'grant' just you in particular.
2. seems like you're the odd 1 out, getting such email.
3. you can copy and paste whatever you want, doesn't change the fact that people got COCs that includes their tourist visits.
4. Aren't you speaking on behalf of SPF too?

LOL

Mate, get a life.

What I copied/pasted comes directly from SPF email. In other words, this is an official information, when at the contrary, what you say, is just an opinion and has zero official value. What don't you understand in this?

If they want to include the tourist via period of time for Mr X or Mrs Y, this is up to them. Still don't get it? They are a government organization, they do as they want.

Hope you see clear now :)

You are right bro.

"They are a government organization, they do as they want." And in this case they chose not to issue you a COC covering your social visit.

But and an official email from SPF vs Many others who actually have COC covering their social visit periods in-between/before/after any other valid pass was issued just makes your "official information" zero of value as well. Just saying.
Hope you see clear too :)

You make an opinion out of the little information you have and spread it to other applicants. Good job.

Let me explain again, I can see you have focusing issues here:

1. SPF has a policy which is not to issue COC for period of stay corresponding to tourists visas.
2. As I said above, some people get their tourist period of stay covered in the COC, some other don't. My partner obtained it, I didn't. Others people obtain, other don't. Agin: some people obtain, some people don't.
3. As I said, it is up to SPF only to include the tourist period of stay in the COC or not.

Whatever you think, is just an opinion.

You are encouraging people to include their tourist visa when filling their e-appeal. However SPF can reject an appeal.

- Can you confirm on what basis SPF accept/reject an appeal? I guess not.
- Can you confirm that putting a wrong period of stay in the COC, will not result in an e-appeal to be rejected? I guess not.
- Will you hold responsibility if anyone here gets his e-appeal rejected, because you said "oh, but you are spreading wrong information, the tourist visa can actually be included"? I guess not.

So now be a good boy and respect SPF policy.

Don't assume. Don't encourage people to do things based on the little information you have. Unless you work at SPF? Again, I guess you don't.

What I encourage people to do though, is what most applicants do: call SPF and ask.

3. As I said, it is up to SPF only to include the tourist period of stay in the COC or not. That's True. Let SPF be the one to send the applicants the official email regarding the outcome of the appeals so that my fellow applicants can utilise it to support their applications.

Whatever you think, is just an opinion. Uhh.. its based on positive experience actually.

You are encouraging people to include their tourist visa when filling their e-appeal. However SPF can reject an appeal.
And you encouraging people to NOT include the dates they visited Singapore on social visit pass in their COC appeal. I mean do you want their EE application to be "cancelled as incomplete" because their COC did not cover their social visits?? Have you not seen applications can cancelled because their police cert DID NOT cover them for a certain period of time?

- Can you confirm on what basis SPF accept/reject an appeal? I guess not. Can you? I guess not too
- Can you confirm that putting a wrong period of stay in the COC, will not result in an e-appeal to be rejected? I guess not. I never mentioned anything or even encouraged anyone to put "wrong dates". Thats just plain dumb.

Again, I guess you don't.I am pretty sure you
don't work there too.

What I encourage people to do though, is what most applicants do: call SPF and ask. I have appealed for COC 3 times all of which included social visits dating back to 2014, and guess what?? ALL APPROVED
Boy you contradict yourself so hard it is dangerous and confusing to the people reading....
I believe the good people of this forum are of sound mind to make best judgements based of people's experiences and proper advice.
I have been entertained thoroughly.

My application has moved from Pending Fingerprints to In progress on the online status, so that indicates they are fine with my FBI Channeller fingerprints. Will update if they issue my and my wife's COC.
Hi,

The FBI channeller I went to says that he can put the stamp only on the back of the card because there is not enough space for the stamp along with the signature. Would that be ok? did your fingerprinting technician also stamp the back of the card? please let me know, I would really appreciate your input on this. Thank you!

The best I can remember they put a stamp on the front, struck out and reused one of the fields that is not filled up since we are not sending to FBI. I believe they also stamped the back, so front & back.

Thanks have done the same and appealed for it.
Hi, can you please let me know, where you able to successfully get your Singapore PCC appeal approved for your spouse by providing your ITA and the part of application with your spouse's name?

Please let me know, would appreciate your input as I am in the exact same situation. Thank you!

Hi, Did you also manage to get the Appeal approved using this letter? please let me know I would really appreciate as I need to get COC appeal approved for my wife whose name is not in ITA.
You can make the appeal for Singapore COC for all your family members once you get the ITA. ITA will only have the name of the primary applicant.

I have one more question I think you are probably the best person to ask this to: typically we arrive in Singapore with the EP approval which contains a social pass, so we enter singapore with that social pass. Then a few days later we got to MoM and get the EP pass issued. For example, for me if I entered Singapore on Jan 1st, then my EP was issued on Jan 9th. Does the SPF issue CoC starting from Jan 1st or do they issue from Jan 9th? do we need to mention anything in our request letter to specify that they start date of the clearance should be Jan 1st? Please let me know, thank you!

Put the start in the appeal as the day you entered Sg. End date of when you left Sg. My wife was on a Social visitor pass for over 3 months and they issued it with the start & end date we put in the appeal, including the social visit pass date.
