Congrats Pro818... how long did it take from medicals to PPR!

I am so so happy for you.

On my end I finally got an email from Dar VO.

They requested medical on Dec 12, my spouse mailed it the following day.

I do hope next request is PPR!

At least that's a step taken hopefully soon you get your ppr.
Anyone with the idea what it means " your file is with us and waiting for officer's review." That's all I got from Dar when I required about my 3yr old file!
Good luck to everyone waiting it's a very painful situation to be in just try keeping positive.

I misread your previous post.
You have waited medical bit a long time appox 9 months, is that right? I've being waiting for medical request, PCC and AOR2 from the Darvo more than 2 months I lost patient with Darvo very slow .

Good luck to you and your spouse for the next step which is PPR hopefully.

Hopefully we won't have to wait another year to hear from them.I think me and you are the oldest files in process in this group now.

Sorry about your long wait as well.I have no idea what it means but maybe GCSM notes will shed some light for you. And contacting your MP if you are in Canada.

Our file is at Nairobi visa office.. applied in June, 2016 and still waiting.. let's hope for a good news in the New year.. last email from them was in August saying that our file is "under active officer review".. should a review take this long?

This process can drive one crazy lol.

Hopefully you won't have to wait as long as some of us.

Like for me I waited over 3 years to actually get medical request.

AOR was fast only 1 month wait.

So I think it depends with the type of application.

Like for me it's family refunication through Refugee category.

So maybe that's why it is taking long.

Either way, try to stay strong.

Keep communicating with your spouse and if you can try to visit each other so that you don't feel the wait.

I would advise to wait a couple more month before enquiring especially now with this holiday season.

So I also just checked my ecas and I see medical recieved finally .

And they sent us pre arrival letter.

I know it's not Decision made or PPR but it sure does feel good knowing that someone is actually looking into our file.

Now I am praying that they will issue PPR next.

I hope and pray all is okay with you. Please I would like to know what is in the pre arrival letter, are we all going to receive the letter? Is it like an interview or obligation attendance seminar I just want to know if I will be required to travel to Tanzania once I happen to get that letter

Pro818 did you get same letter before PPR? Am just curious anyone with more knowledge than me Please help

I'm July Applicant. file was transfer on Oct 16, 2017 still waiting for medical request, PCC and AOR2 from VO. DARVO is slow I'm wondering why they are so quite and not requesting Medical or even not sending to me AOR2.

Thanks for your response! That is good to know that PCC and medical wasn't requested yet. People in my months group have been getting both after AOR but things are not always easy in TZ! Are you in Tanzania or another country?
