Of course, it's good to be prepared for anything

That is why it's good to go over the answers to potential questions that might be asked with your spouse before the interview (so you know you are both on the same page). Of course you can't know all the questions they will ask you, but the main ones for sure and also it helps with your confidence level, I imagine.

Absolutely, I'm confident in my husband he is poised but as for me I get nervous with any situation like that. Im ridiculous in a job interview so I think I would just hinder the entire thing

As long as he is confident, because it seems they can spend up to 30 min to an hour interviewing the applicant. If they interview you, I think it would only be briefly and a few questions. Probably to see if stories matched.

Yeah I have heard that. I can't wait until it's all over and we can start our life together the stress takes a toll which you of course know

For sure. At least you have a date for your interview. We are still waiting ...

Im curious based on reading the forum, are men more likely to be called for an interview?

Best case scenario is no interview of course. However, I can't really put all my money on that.
I live in Calgary, so it's about a 4 hour flight to Toronto then 9-10 hours down to Santiago ( or if I go through the US, same thing .... 4 hours down to Houston or Dallas and then still about 9 hours to Santiago because it's not as far east). Any way you look at it, a long time in transit ....
I live in Calgary too!
My travel to Argentina is intense as well. Most often, my trajectory involves getting off, then back on the plane in Santiago, then flying to Buenos Aires..THEN driving 6 hours to my partner's town.. It's at least a day of travel. I'm going back on Dec. 22nd (yikes; Christmas travel- but as a student it's my only opportunity)! Excited to be going to see my hunny, and to soak up some summer!

I wish I had the courage to travel by myself.

Yes, I have been on that flight so many times, but luckily I am done with flying when I get to Santiago! My bag got sent to BA once ... although I haven't had the opportunity to get over to BA yet. Yikes, you still have to travel 6 more hours to see your partner! Really brutal! No wonder you can't wait to get her here!
