Can anyone share points about research section while submitting profile.
What to answer for,do you know if your job is regulated.
Well, yes I know that its not regulated.
Although, dropdowns are rather confusing.
Does a wrong choice in this section results in point penalty?

I wish I could find a way to not spend my days waiting for a draw and do nothing else! I was much more productive when I was preparing myself for the IELTS exam. Since November 23rd that I received my results I feel that I have nothing to do anymore...
Do some charity work in local community in your country. You will enjoy and spend some time in creative and peaceful work.
When migrating to new country, this things will give you good moments to cherish back and sense of fulfillment.

So, yet another week without any draw. this will surely keep the CRS level at around 442+ benchmark. So, unless CIC decides to increase their drawing numbers from 2700 to atleast 3300+, I don't think people waiting at 430 to 435 ll have any chance at all to secure their ITA's and this ITA draught can continue for the next couple of months if it continues to be like this :(

what do u think guys?

Hello seniors ,
I have created my EE profile today and came up with CRS 418. I have 95 in age and IELTS (L 8/ R 7.5/S 7/W 7)
My spouse has IELTS 6.5 band and he is going to appear again. With his IELTS 8 band we will land to 426. I will move to next age year on 30th May. We both have Bachelor degree. How do you see our chances before May end with 426 and ways to improve our score? Do I have IELTS retry for Band 8.5 + and PNP are the only options left? Please guide.

My suggestion to you: just go for PNP.

Check your CIC score by improving 0.5 in each module. It will help you increase some more points.

May 2017 saw the score land at 413, hence the first two months of the new year should give a decent indication of how the draws might progress. Nevertheless, you have scope to improve your ielts score which will definitely boost your crs, if you are in a hurry.

I am thinking of increasing the score from 443 by doing the IELTS again. Does it worth? I am afraid since there is no draw today next draw score will be higher and will increase in JAN 2018.
Any suggestions are welcomed!

I am on the same situation, we have 449, but I am afraid of next draw. Last one we missed by 3 points. So I am not sure if it is better to take the CELPIP (my spouse never took) so we might increase our score about 10 extra points) landing us with 459 but it will cost almost $400.00. or even with 459 point the next draw is not guaranteed.

what should we do? "burn $400" to take extra 10 points, or wait the next draw because there is a big chance with 449 points.

Hello,

I hope everyone is doing well. You might be surprised to see my post today as I was absent for quite a while. :)

Congratulations to those who received their ITA in previous draws and all the best to those who are still waiting for their golden email. In light of recent announcement of multi-year immigration plan, I'm sure everybody here will cross the line sooner or later. :)

Also, I have update to share about my application. I'm not pursuing express entry anymore as I received my positive LMIA and CAQ. Not only this, I received my work permit stamped on my passport yesterday. I'll be moving to Canada as TFW and will join you as permanent resident thereafter.

I wish all the best and thanks to senior members especially @trumprefugee , @andieangel , @iamxty , @pessacanada , @TanakaM , @Lala1234, @gurpreet.ts , @tjsecondtry, @Contactnisha, @lino82 , @AlliBatista ,@Karnesh , @abhishek_89 , @GavinSouthAfrica and all of you here who are trying everything they can to get over the line and pursue their dreams.

I'll be landing next year by February and hope to see you soon in person. Meanwhile, I'll keep coming here to say hi. ;);)

I have come up with the prediction for the 80th draw.

If it happens today (Dec 13) with:
2750 ITAs - CRS 438

The variance in the above calculation is +/- 2 CRS.

Please find below the CRS cut off in case the number of ITAs issued is more/less than the predicted ITA count:

what are you predicting for next wednesday??

Also on the same decision making phase. But good for you because you are somehow at 449. We are at 441 :(. Really confuse as well whether to spend or to wait. $400 is geezz a lot of money. Any opinion/suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
