Guys my husband said there's alot of refusals for the tourists visas... So I wouldnt risk anything if I were you.

Hello all, i just have a thought, is CIC or NDVO also making decision or pick files based on the applicant's education background? what Canada demands at present time to make economy stronger. Such as doctors might get higher priority over engineers or any other bachelor degree than to diploma?
because so far no trend is making any sense. therefore, just throwing out my thought.
I don’t think so as I am March applicant, no bgc started yet and I am Doctor!

its already December, that brings the whole application process to 8+ months. God only knows when they will give us the Visa.
i think they are planing to give the march applicants visa right on the dot of 12 months. let us suffer the pain of separation while they enjoy their love and family life.
so unfair....

I try to keep myself positive however, what is the guarantee they going to do it in 12th month even .. Personally they haven't done anything on spouse file from June 13 onwards. All checks are not even started .. Is there any hearing if they unable to do in 12 months ?

i hear u buddy, thats the same with me too. i wake up everyday with the hope of getting a good news but then go into deep depression when i dont hear anything from NDVO and also the sad voice from my wife. :(:(:(:(:(
Sometimes i feel like quitting my job here and just move there. but then the practical side of me takes hold of me and says what happens if that delays my file even more since i dont have a job anymore. its a 2 edged sword for me.

I believe we all are more or less in the same boat. At this point of time, all we can do is keep ourselves busy; there is no way reaching an MP or calling CIC or NDVO going to make our cases process any faster. Let us just accept the reality that it will happen when the time is right. I would suggest you to remind this to yourself everyday than just succumbing more and more into depression. It will happen soon, I am sure!

Do u know how long take to get AOR2 from visa office ?????
As I have mentioned in another post, I didn't got any email NDVO. Its just that my ECAS says "In Process" and I have an additional line that says "we have started processing your application on ___ "

As a sponsor I got the email on 15th November that my file has been transferred to NDVO. On 23 Nov 2017 my ECAS changed to "In Procs" and line has been added saying they started working on the application on Nov 23
