after transferring principal applicant file to new delhi via office, still the application section of background check shows not applicable(N/A)
what does it mean?
how long we can expect approximate time frame for passport request

Woke up to a message from CIC. Expecting BGIP next, I run to the computer.
"We need a Police Certificate from this other country too, which we didn't previously request"
I uploaded my PCCs nearly 2 months ago but luckily ordered this other countries just in case.
I hope this hasn't delayed anything for me. . . .

how long were u in that other country that they requested PC ?

im worried they will ask for me from indonesia but i didnt live there i just travelled for months at a time over the past 4 years so it will be very hard to get a police cert from there maybe even impossible as i was only a tourist

Hey, aw that sucks. I was in a similar situation to you and was just short of 6 months in the country overall.

We know from GCMS notes that typically, if they request documentation from you, they put your application aside until the "bring forward date" which is the day they gave you the deadline for.

Well, guess I will just chill until mid-January then (that's the deadline for my additional documentation) Already mentioned to another user who kindly replied, but I was a bit bummed out, as generally I felt very ahead of the game having uploaded everything months ago. Got asked for a PCC, not originallly requested, from a country I didn't even live in for 6 months. Lol!
