Just starting the process after having received ITA 10 day’s ago. I’m booked for my upfront medical in Vancouver on Thursday and have searched the forum but can’t find any info about what they actually check for. Is it just blood pressure, BMI etc? Do they do blood tests? Has anyone been for one and got any specifics they can share?
What actually happens during a medical?

- Physical test including blood pressure, weight, height, etc.
- Blood test for HIV and Syphilis.
- Urine test.
- Chest x-ray.
These are the basic tests. Based on your medical history and the results of above tests, other tests may be required.
