Just got AOR today inland application. Received by CIC September 16th

hi! i submitted my application in march and i am also done with my medicals in july. but not heard anything since then!!
However when i received request for pcc i submitted only pcc of my home country and did not submit the pcc for US where i did my masters for 2yrs. would that be delaying my background check?

Does that mean if you didn't link your application within 7 calendar says, you lost the chance to link the application online?

I think you should be able to link it at a later date. I had made a complaint about the fault and CIC was able to resolve the issue and link my application.

They have mentioned that the fastest way is to upload through your online account. But I cannot find any option to upload the forms or documents on my online account. Any help appreciated!!

Hi guys sorry i dont know where to post my question but i wanna ask about the difference between "FAMILY CLASS" AND "SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP IN CANADA CLASS"
which one should i apply for? i read that in SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP IN CANADA CLASS me and my canadian husband should live together in canada... we dont have any conjugal property or shared expenses yet in canada to proof the cohabitation since i just arrived here last August.

My husband and I don’t have conjugal property. What we did was we have the cable and wifi billed in both our name and so with the gas bill. We also Open a joint account together. As soon as you get the chance, process those. It’s pretty quick and easy.

As my knowledge processing owp is around 4months. On my case, it took longer, coz of my own mistake, in beginning i paid $155 so my application been returned (took a month). Once received it, i paid another $100 than i send it again to Mississauga instead of Vegrevile ( I live in Alberta). My husband received AIP, 2 weeks before my CoPR

Omg! Really?! I guess I’ll be expecting mine to be returned. Only paid 155. I didn’t see the option of 100 when I made payments before.

Ònce arrived in Canada with TRV, we made join account with TD bank, picture ID with same address, Alberta healthcard and put me under his private insurance and some docs&billing..than applied PR spousal inland (12 months process) along with owp good luck for you

Hi, I'm also March Applicant , my ECAS says that they are checking my background check since Oct 2017, because of the delay that i NEVER got an email from them for sending PCC or Schedule A, i decided to send them by myself without their request, huhu . And Eligibility said "your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing you eligibility".. Do you have the same timeline ?

I got my CSQ with letter confirmation as well as the form that I filled with their signature. So should I scan CSQ + letter confirmation to upload to MyCIC or I have to scan and upload CSQ + letter + form that I filled?

U should see option "view submitted" at the bottom of your detail application on your CIC account.

Called the CIC this afternoon and they said that they were working on September 12th applications.

Does that mean they are working on those people who received AOR on September 12th.??

Thanks for this. I was able to get hold of them and inquired about my application. The agent said that they're working on sept 12 applications.

Re the missing or lack of payment for the OWP, they will deduct it from the Right of PErmanent Residence Fee instead of returning the application. In my case i paid 1040 that includes Right of Permanent Residence Fee. Will just wait til i receive AOR from them. Getting impatient here. Hope everything will go well.
