Don't decline ITA, it is a precious thing. Just correct the company name.
We cannot edit profile once we receive ITA.
Quick Update:
I just called my friend who already got his passport stamped. He did the same mistake, but it never mattered. So long as it does not alter the CRS score or something that is related to NOC. It seems the Canadians are lenient enough if they can understand unlike the Australians who are strict with these things!

Good Analysis dude.
this also tells us that if there is a draw tomorrow then the score might be in the range of 445 to 460.
If the draw is on 22nd then the range would be 450 - 465.
Hope my prediction is wrong and the cutoff drops to 430 and lower. :)
If the next draw happens tomorrow (Nov 15):
With 2000 ITAs: Cut-off would be around CRS 443
OR
With 2800 ITAs: Cut-off would be around CRS 436

Due to the increased hopes of a CIC draw happening tomorrow, detailed draw prediction will be posted tomorrow!

There was a scheduled maintenance on the CIC page from 3:30 am to 5:30 am EST.
This should have been done already, but why its still reflecting.

Completion date is different from award date. Award date can be after a year from completion as well. So in your case you will mention the dates attended, (start and end date, i.e. jul 20120 and the date the degree awarded will feb 2013.

Hope I could explain my self.
But which date we have to enter. I am also facing the same problem. I completed my bachelor's in June and join my organisation in July but I got degree in December and December is mentioned in the certificate. So which date I have to enter?

Guys.. one question. there is a quota of 75K for FSW, FST, CEC and 55K for PNP. 2017 target was 71700 and 51000.
So, PNP quota was 70% of what the total was for FSW/FST/CEC , 50K is a big number for PNP.

If I check the average draw since August, which was in the range of 2800. Approx 150-200 would be 600+ and rest all(2000+) in range of 433 - 500.
How did they manage to utilize 2017 PNP quota of 51K with only 200 folks coming on to the top with 600+ score?

In addition, with planned quota of 71700 quota in 2017. Assuming this number includes family. so with an average of 2 folks per ITA and taking some rejections too. I don't see how they can send more than 40K invites. so 40K/26 = 1500 approx. But the invites for 2017 look to be way more.

Am in missing something?

Hello all,
I am in canada and got my pcc on oct 1st week thinking that I will get an ITA.
But so far I didn't get any ITA(432 pts).

I am planning to visit my home country on Dec 1 st week and will return to Canada by Jan 3rd week.My question is
1.How long my earlier pcc is valid
2.When I visit my home country Do I have to get a new one again. If yes do I need to apply after reaching Canada.

I strongly believe that I will get an ITA by Jan So want to be well prepared.

You will need new PCC as you will be visiting after PCC is Issued.
It would be nice if you apply for PCC after you are back but you can always get one from your Home Country while you are visiting but make sure you apply for it when you are few days away from your departure to Canada

Current Employer's reference letter is required as per document checklist for express entry.. How are we supposed to handle this? I cannot disclose my immigration plan to my employer now. Please suggest

If you're in the US, proof of employment requests are commonly asked of HR departments for loans and other things. I checked with some friends familiar with HR-related things before we asked for the letter we needed from my husband's employer and were told that asking for it for a personal matter should be fine, no details needed. We did that and had no problems.

Thanks @moose17. I am in US and in current employer's letter - roles and duties have to be mentioned. That will raise a flag :(

In our case, we had the original job description, so there was no need to ask anyone to write up roles and responsibilities and it could all stay between him and HR. Any chance you have something like that? Even if not though, my friends in HR thought it should be a routine request.
