hi

After someone gets their sponsorship visa, is there a deadline or amount of days they have to be here by?

It will be stated on the CoPR as the 'Expiry Date'. And yes, the date is normally 1 year from the date of your medical. If you don't land by this date, you have to start the process all over again.

Possibly. The VO will let you know one way or another. They have also been known to simply 'extend' the validity of your medical and issue a CoPR with an expiry date of two months or so from the date of issue. Having said that, I suspect a request for a new medical is the most likely outcome.

Sucks doesn't it!!

What if you've already been given PPR and are waiting on CoPR, but you medicals are up by the end of the month?

At what point in the application we’re you at when they asked for you to redo Medicals? Did you have DM or PPR yet at that point?
