they know you are here... my husband is here on a visitor visa as well, we just recently applied for his extension and received his visitor record... not sure which vo you are with but my notes were useless too.. nothing is being done it seems... last time something was done was july 10... so almst 4 months now... and nothing. good luck
What I found strange is that you say "It was basically my app scanned with stamps saying "received" and the dates."... Because when we got our notes there was just lots of sections and officer notes etc., but definitely not a scanned app. Are you sure you order the correct thing? As long as you are within 12 months of processing time, nobody will tell you for sure, immigration take all their time ...there are people from 2016 who didn't get DM yet.

Congrats!!! That is probably the best birthday gift ever that you could receive this year!!!! I'm hoping for a similar gift, but a second anniversary gift of getting DM and/or PPR on November 14th!
Based on GCMS notes, my husbands eligibility and criminality have both passed back in July, the same day they requested his medical, but we are just waiting on his chest x-ray to pass since he had some spots of his lungs unfortunately... My husband goes for his 3-month follow up chest X-ray on November 8th, and we're flying to Bangkok and taking a bus to the beach a couple days later to celebrate our 2nd anniversary... hoping to be able to drop off our passport in Bangkok on the way back from celebrating our anniversary at the beach!
It sounds like you might have ordered your full application instead of the "Notes in Electronic File"? I have ordered both of those, and agree with you that the full application is basically useless since it is just SOME of your application scanned in with received stamps on it! I ordered the full application to see what my paid immigration lawyer had submitted... other than one cover letter, I didn't really get to see anything different from what I had already sent her, and none of the relationship evidence was scanned in either (which is what I had wanted to see what she had actually sent in out of everything I had sent her!).
