when should i order notes? i heard they are hard to come by... btw i did order notes couple weeks after aor2 but i still didnt receive anything yet.. I know patience is key i guess i just have higher expectations with LVO as i thought they'd be a more efficient VO. Seems the opposite

The further down the application the better since it will contain more information about what has been done on your file. It usually comes after 31 days or up. The VOs are efficient but we have to also think about their workload and different type of applications they have to deal with. Hang in there, it's tough but you'll get there.

its been past 31 days i'm still waiting... it is true i guess i should just wait.. what else can I do right? haha im just really wishful thinking by now that he'd make it home to me by Christmas... I haven't seen him in a year... I know some people have it worst but to me this is the most painful thing... :(

If it has been past 31 days you can use your tracking number to follow up. I recall it said 'Due to the large volume of requests that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) receives, please wait until after 31 calendar days has passed before submitting a status request with your tracking number.' If you have any questions or concerns, please send an email to ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca.

I understand how you feel and it's totally understandable. Don't lose hope, believe in it, it might still happen.

Thank you I'm just hoping.. There is a last may 23rd applicant from LVO who got her dm (oct 30) and ppr (nov. 1) ... she's a philippine citizen as well.

You're welcome. Hopefully yours is next and just around the corner.

When ordered our second set of notes 3 months after our app arrived at the VO and we saw something significant i.e.) they started our eligibility review. Now our VO os slow, so if yours is fast, you might see things happening sooner. We ordered our first set of notes a month after our app got to the VO because we wanted to see what was happening with our RCMP report and if our security and/or criminality checks were actually started as our background check in GCKey account had been in progress since Feb 22, 2017.

thank you for your input. will be ordering gcms notes now as its been past a month post aor2,, i guess the one i ordered before was a mistake as we made a written consent and didnt know about the form that supposed to be filled out

I
For Singapore VO it seems at least 2 months after AOR for medical. Look at my timeline in my signature. I believe I got the medical request earlier than most applicants in Singapore VO. So you can expect the duration to be at least 2-3 months+
