FSW 2014 applicants from Nigeria - Let's network

Hello Twinkle-C,

Please i don't think you should go for Express entry at this stage because once you withdraw your 2014 application, that means you will have to rewrite your IELTS exam. This is because the one you used for your 2014 application has technically expired since it has a validity period of two years. This is in addition to loosing what ever payments you have made.

I will advise that you write a polite e-mail but straight to the point to AVO requesting update on your application. That was what i did after it seemed like my application had been forgotten and it paid off. You can use this e-mail to request the update accra.immigration@international.gc.ca

Hi Guys,

I received 2 messages in my email to check my account, one was to inform me i had an update and the other was to inform me i had a new message. When i logged in, everything still appeared to be same thing as it were the last time, but i went back into my email to notice that, application number is different to my current application number to which i have received medical request and done it since June.

1st application was submitted in December 2014, cc was charged march and no correspondence ever till date.

2nd application was submitted (paper application) January 2017, and i have gotten medical request (completed it) as well as ordered GCMS notes, which shows things are in order.

Above all, email address used for both applications are different. I only linked the application I submitted when i received AOR in April.

Anyone come across similar issue or how can I address this?

How do I order my GCMS notes? My timeline is written below.

1) Application received Dec. 22, 2014
2) Started processing my application March 8, 2015.
3) Aug.17, 2017, MR,PCC, updated proof of funds requested.
4) Medical done 1st Sept.,2017.
5) Medical results received 15th Sept., 2017.
6) PPR, waiting, waiting, waiting.

I am worried. I don't know how long I will still wait. Please somebody should guide me on how to order my GCMS notes.

Hi, I see you just did medicals less than 2 months so your file is still fresh so to speak. No need to be worried as patience is the name of the game for FSW 2014 applicants. For GCMS notes, get your relatives/friends in Canada who are citizens/PRs to apply on your behalf using this link, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp
 
any fsw 2014 in the house with application exceeding the average processing time stated on CIC website,should send them a mail.

I did this and got PPR within 24hrs.

My pending application is already 35 months (december 2014) and average processing time is currently 32months.I sent them an email stating this and got PPR within 24hours.

Thank you.Did and passed medicals in june 2017.Had 4months delay in getting foreign country PCC which was eventually received and sent to Accra few days before the end of september.

I contacted them through http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp
