Does IQAS recognize Degree from Sikkim Manipal University

Hi Everyone,

I'm going through similar situation. I have an MBA degree from SMU-DE completed in year 2008-2010. I am confused on few things

1. How to get transcript?
2. Do I need to register on IQAS, pay fee before applying for transcript
3. How much SMU will charge for transcript
4. Can SMU send transcript directly to IQAS as its a requirement on their website

If someone can guide, that would be a great help.

1. How to get transcript?
Send an email to smuhelpdesk@smudde.edu.in and ask them for the transcript application.
2. Do I need to register on IQAS, pay fee before applying for transcript
Yes, they will give you an application number post payment. You will use this application number to send your documents to IQAS.
3. How much SMU will charge for transcript
It depends on if you want SMU to send your transcripts to IQAS directly or if you want to send the documents yourself. You will find this information along with the transcript application form.
4. Can SMU send transcript directly to IQAS as its a requirement on their website
I know people who send the transcripts from SMU to IQAS themselves and it worked for them. While others asked SMU to send the transcripts to IQAS directly.

I got SMU transcripts in sealed envelop, they were very fast and professional. But I realized that my CRS score is merely 360, I should have checked my score before going ahead and wasting time and money. It seems having a MS degree, more than 10 yrs of exp is of no good for express entry profile.

What about your IELTS score? Actually it effects the most in CRS points...

i myself took help from one of consultant with a nominal charge and he sure shot told me about eca will be done.

we have done our bachelors degree from WES, so is that ok if we do assessment of MBA degree from IQAS? or do we have to assess both the degrees from IQAS ?

there is no harm getting both MBA and Graduation assessment as IQAS will only charge fixed fee no matter how many credentials you get assessed
