My application package was delivered yesterday.
How long does it take before there is any status update online? More specifically on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp
What ID do you use to login? I'm using the citizenship receipt number (mine is like R123456789), but it says it should numeric-only.....confused.

It takes around 4-5 weeks before it start showing the status

I am confused too about receipt numeric stuff, as above post said, once you get AOR or Acknowledement of Receipt you will try with PR ID# in a month, keep checking your residencial mail & email in 4-6th week.

Use your UCI (Unique Client Indentifier) that can be found on your COPR landing document and on your PR Card

is it the eight digit number on PR with format: 8888-8888?
