Greetings to everyone on this thread! Just bumped into it now & find it really interesting. Btw I'm an April 28 app AVO. (passed medical exam 10thOct)

Just find it a bit odd that I did not receive DM a few days after BGC started on my GCKEY.

NDVO gives DM almost immediately after bC in progress. Did you see the same pattern with your VO?

Please order your gcms notes as nowadays the emails and communications are amiss with CIC as the emails at times go missing and technical issues with CIC site.

Does the applicant have to order the notes? My husband is applying from Brazil

Hey Application Twinnie! :) AVO here, April 28 applicant as well. Passed Medical exam October 6. AVO has been the slowest VO though... hoping for the best. The wait is killing me.

To send a request you must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or an individual or corporation currently in Canada. so it has to be a sponsor, not applicant as the sponsor has the right to send a request to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) under the Access to Information Act (ATI) to:
  • Get information about CIC
  • Get information that would have been created by CIC
  • Get personal information submitted by a representative, where the client (with their consent) is not a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or here in Canada.
The fee for requests under the Access to Information Act is $5.00. It takes 30 days to get your GCMS back.

You're welcome bro, I'm glad to help in any way. Thank you so much for those amazing wishes. You'll be with your wife very soon :)

I saw an April 18 applicant's BGC go in progress, same VO and country of PA. It's breaking my heart honestly.

Don't worry, your wait will also end soon! You have already come so far and waited so long..just be patient!! I am trying not to stress too much, since our Medical is still pending...
