My file was moved to LVO London on Oct 3, can anyone please comment how long does it take there to get through?

In most of the cases when additional documents section changes from “we are reviewing the additional documents you provided” to “We donot need additional documents”, the file is moved to a Local Visa Office.

Okay, then that is not the case with my application, I guess.
I talked to CIC agent on Thursday and he said that medical, R10, criminality and security check all have been passed but still the application has not been transferred to Local Visa Office, is it a matter of concern or it's something normal?

I don’t think there should be any issues at this moment. Now the agent will pick up your file may be next week and have a final look at it for eligibility. And within seconds your file will move to LVO.

How do you guys find out all those things from them?? I called Cic many times, not a single time an agent would give this kind of information to me. Today i called and asked a simple question, which office is processing my application, she said it's "somewhere between Ottawa and Sydney". Like always there's some kind of uncertain response, and all of them tell me "oh your application is too recent to ask any of those questions ". Ugh.

I guess it all depends on the person with whom you are talking. I just asked, can you please tell me what is the status of my application and he told me all this.
Then, my next question was, 'can you tell me whether my file has moved to local visa office or not', he said not yet.
After that also, he said if you have any further questions, you can ask, I said no, I don't and then finally, the call ended.

Yeah, there the eligibility is checked for the final time and file is sent for issuance of PPR.

Don’t worry ravleen. Now it’s just the matter of time. We just need to be patient. I’m Aug 04 AOR, and my file was moved to London VO on Oct 3.

Is there any difference between London Visa Office and Local visa office?
I am really confused...I was thinking LVO for Indian applicants is New Delhi Visa Office?

Ravleen, London VISA Office is also a Local visa office among other visa offices like New Delhi, Singapore, Islamabad etc.
