Hello everyone..

I received a PFL from Ontario last thursday and responded few hrs later, yet I havent received any acknowledgement from them yet. Should I call OINP or resend the mail again hoping they acknowledge soon?

I also noticed that when i got the PFL, my one-key status changed from "DIP" to "Awaiting Information", but I just checked status this morning and noticed its back to "DIP".
Should I call them or wait or resend mail? Please anyone that can assist in clarifying..

Hi, my timeline is very similar and I got a PFL last week Friday (22 Sept). I sent information back on Tuesday last week (26 Sept) and didn't get an AOR either. I called last night and then received an AOR, but my status is still 'awaiting information'.. From the phone conversation it seems that only the senior officer that is looking at your case can change the status. Thus I would interpret the change from 'awaiting information' to DIP as them having received the info you sent and the senior officer looking at your case.. Good luck!

In my opinion you should send them an email again and request for acknowledgement of receipt because it's your response to a PFL and you should not take any chances, you should have an AOR in place.
But at the same time since your status has gone from awaiting information to dip again it most likely means they have received your reply.
But again you should still send them email and ask for aor.

Can I ask what your PFL was about?

Sure. It stated that the work experience requirement for NOC code 2131 was not met. This is not surprising as the NOC code for my work experience is 2161, which is also the one on my application. I did provide them with further details of work experience though as well..

Hello mcassim87,
Yes I replied yesterday.
I have made sure to attach every detail to prove that I meet 67 points as this is why I received the PRL.
When I submitted my application at the first place I selected Bachelor's degree (three or more years) which is awarded by 21 points, while I should have selected two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees which is awarded by 22 points. Therefore the total of the six factors was certainly less than 67 by one point.
My Education credentials states that I have two diplomas (Bachelo 4 years, and Diploma 2 year). I wonder why they didn't pay attention to that, that way when they calculated the score they should find 67 points.
Anyways I made sure to explain everything as BIllHyatt had suggested, by providing the same documents to claim my points, and not even that I made sure to include the CIC official site to prove the claimed points also.

I suggest you to reply by tomorrow and call them to get an acknowledgment as I think this may help to save time instead of waiting for them to send one after 3/4 days.
Best of luck to you and all other candidates.
Best Regards,
