WES ECA guidance for Autonomous college

Hello All,

I have studied in Autonomous college which is affiliated to Bharathiar University. After googling a lot, going through WES website and several forum questions, I must admit that the ECA procedure and the required documents checklist is not well explained for Autonomous college.
Following is my understanding of the required documents:

1. Get attestation on individual Semester Mark sheets and Consolidated mark sheet from the Autonomous college
2. Take the attested mark sheets and consolidated mark sheet to the university and get transcripts and attested degree certificate from the university
3. Ask the university to fill in WES Transcript request form (2nd half of the form and get it signed and sealed)
4. Place all the documents (attested marksheets, consolidated marksheet, transcripts, degree certificate and WES transcript request form) in an envelop and ask university to seal and sign the envelop.
5. Send the envelop to WES.

Now my question is, should I have to get transcripts from the autonomous college for semester mark sheets and consolidated mark sheet before going to the university ? Or should I just get attestation from autonomous college on semester mark sheets and consolidated mark sheet before taking them to university ?

My autonomous college is charging a huge amount in case of issuing transcripts for mark sheets, where as for just attestation, they do not charge anything. Moreover, who should attest on the mark sheet from the autonomous college - Controller of Examination or Principal of the college ???

Please clarify on the above as I am a newbie and currently stuck up here. Thanks

My Spouse also needs to get her transcripts from Bharathiyar for WES. please let me know the procedure to do so. I hope you might have got your assessment done by now. Please advice and guide me on the same. I need her ECA done to include her points for CRS so please help me out ASAP

I am also in same situation, could you please guide me to get through this process.
I had completed my Master degree at SNR Sons college (Autonomous), I called up the college to process the same and they are not aware of this it seems.
Could you please provide me the details like how you made it finally...

Hi can you tell me how to do WES ECA evaluation ? my friend in same situation college is autonomous ,but degree is awarded by Madras university what should he do ? what documents he should send to WES?

Can you please update how did you get the Marksheet attested ?
I need same for SeethaLakshmi College affliated to Bharatidasan Univ.
Cant we just get Consolidated Marksheet attested and seal from College & send ? Please outline your process how you got it done and whether we need to take originals for attestation ? (pls contact me on srinivaslaxman dot gmail dot com)

Who does the attestation? Can you please let me know the exact procedure for the same?
I graduated from an autonomous college affiliated to VTU, Belgaum.

Do I have to get the transcripts from the college or get them from VTU?
The degree is issued from VTU.

Hi All.
I have a specific query regarding whether I should include my post graduate degree MBA if the WES ECA report says it is One Year Post Secondary Study at non-recognized institution.

Because, I will be losing 7+25 CRS points for Only Bachelor's degree recognized.

Secondly, in case of my spouse, her both the degrees are recognized BSc as Bachelors (Three Years) and MSc as Bachelors (Four Years). Can it be qualified as Two or more Degrees to claim 119 points ?

Get your mark sheets or consolidated mark sheet attested from your autonomous college and your degree certificate should be attested by university. send them to WES. Make sure university and your college enclose them in a sealed envelop.

Thank you for the informations.I've completed my pg from MCC, affiliated to university of madras. Is it necessary to have a consolidated mark sheet?? And WES is asking for detailed transcript of marks from where am I supposed to get it college or university?

college and university will give their own sealed envelop, you can put them together in into a single envelop and send it to WES
