It seems like file transfer to LVO is happening quicker now. I'm not sure if this means the cases will be processed any faster, however, because as mentioned by other members, the overall processing time is still many months. LVO might get a file quicker, but they might take their time handling it if it's still well under 12 months processing time. A cluster of factors is at play and there's no way of telling which ones are weighing in heavier. Making predictions is satisfying and appeasing, and it's really all we can do LOL, but the fact is that individual processing times are wild cards and you can never be sure what you'll get. It's best and mentally healthiest to expect the full processing time.

I've been researching the NADRA marriage certificate. It seems NADRA doesn't issue marriage certificates to minority religions or people considered non-Muslims (many Christians, for example, are denied the certificate and their spouses are never registered).

Consequently, IRCC does not expect that certificate from everyone.

Im Jan 2017 applicant, absolute silence since Feb ( when medical was received). I ordered gcms notes in Aug & file was still awaiting initial review. I did notice when I ordered the notes my status on gc key also changed from "we will email if additional docs are required" to "no documents needed"

So you're good. Just wait it out. Maybe they are doing background checks for you.

Contact the nearest MP for your riding since your MP is now unavailable. Even try to see if the Regional office will help.

@Kinza_Bee and the others who's additional doc status changed to 'we need more documents, we will send u a message with more details' without any messages, you were right, this status is due to ordering of gcms notes.

I had ordered notes on jul 15, received on aug 15 with a generated date of Aug 11. My status on mycic had changed for the documents on aug 11 as well. I ordered notes again on aug 15, received them just this week, and there was no change, just an addition of incoming correspondacne for the gcms notes on aug 11.

Yup i also ordered Gcms notes on 30 aug. N few days back mycic status also changed to" need more documents".Without getting any request. I was wondering why this happened but yup may b due to GCMs notes.

I wrote the dates we "met" in person for the first time. Not the date we saw each other on video call etc.

I don't think that is true. In Pakistan there is no federal body (like the FBI in US) who does Police checks for the whole country. I got my pcc from isb and it clearly mentions that my criminal records are clean during my residence in Islamabad only.

So if you have resided in different cities since the age of 18, then i think you have to mention it in one of the forms as well ( Sch A) and also provide police certificate accordingly.

That is strange that non Muslims in Pakistan cannot have their marriage registered in Pakistan.

I got my application returned saying i didnt attach the PA's birth certificate, but he loves in Pakistan and we comfirmed but thy dont issue birth certificate for olders people this birth certificate thing just started a few years back. So now im confused on how to provide this. They also said if u r unable to gove us write us an explanation telling why. Can anyone please help me witg this, i want to clarify this fast so i can resend the application and get process started.
