I think all engineering jobs are regulated.so some one should have already done this or can guide .
Friends, are there no career engineers on the forum that are in the process of PR application ?

I found this in an old thread, probably valid for current circumstances too:

Here it is:
>>> Regulated Occupations -
If you are working in a regulated occupation that requires mandatory certification or licensing in Ontario, you must submit proof of your Ontario certification or licence. You may wish to contact the Regulatory Body for more information about becoming licensed in Ontario.
SOURCE: Regulated Professions - http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/working/OI_HOW_WORK_PROF_PROFS.html

If you are working in a regulated skilled trade that requires a Certificate of Qualification in Ontario, you must submit proof of your Ontario Certificate of Qualification issued by the Ontario College of Trades.
SOURCE: Certified Trades - http://www.collegeoftrades.ca/

PLEASE NOTE: The above statements only apply if you are currently working in Canada in an occupation that is regulated in Ontario or you have arranged employment in a regulated occupation in Ontario.

If you are applying from outside of Canada, and you do not have arranged employment in Ontario, you are not required to send proof of certification, licence or a certificate of qualification issued by the Ontario College of Trades.

Maybe we should start a lower cost, higher quality immigration consultancy when we get to Canada. It would offer true consulting services where clients can come to us with questions but they take care of their own filings. If some really want us to handle the filings, then we would charge an extra fee but always provide quality service. Maybe give discounts to those who dine at our restaurant a certain number of times. And vice versa - buy one of @andieangel's cakes and get 10% off a consultation. High quality, affordable immigration consulting services by real immigrants who went through the process themselves. @lino82 @iamxty

Let's make it a reality! A box of dark chocolate for me is enough :)

You mean my current immediate boss to give a letter on behalf of my previous boss (whos my junior now)?

If you worked in a different company, you should get your previous boss (who is your junior now) to sign the reference letter and have it notarised (not mandatory but it will be better).

It might sound a bit naive but should I apply for India PCC as well, I'm already done with upfront medical. Even though I'm yet to receive an ITA.

If you can get now without the ITA, yes. PCC for current residence is valid for 6 months.

Hi Folks,

Please the Schedule A form, is it (IMM5669) or (IMM5669 E)? They seem to be different. Which is the current one?

Thanks.

I submitted IMM5669E. I didn't know there is a 5669 (without the E)
