Hi All,

I am an FSW applicant from India. Below is the timeline of my application:

· July 4: Application submitted and AOR received
· July 25 (approx.): Medical passed
· August 23: Request for additional document (Travel History) received
· August 29: Travel History form submitted
· August 30: Request for additional document (FBI PCC) received
· September 4: FBI PCC submitted

The application status on my profile is:
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents (I do not know if this changed after I submitted the documents or if it was the same. I know it is the same since two days after I submitted the documents)
Background check: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

This indicates that I am in IP1 stage. It has been more than a week since I submitted the additional documents but have not seen any movement. Is this normal? Am I being too impatient or do I need to take some additional steps. How do people find out their visa offices?

I am a little concerned because several people with AORs in August have already received PPRs. Would really appreciate any inputs from this group.

Thank you.

With 2 ADR's your timeline appears to be normal. Though its good that your Doc Status has changed to "not needed". Your BG surely looks to be IP1, but expect a change soon.

You can call or mail Cic to know about your VO. This will give you a better idea.

I can only suggest you not to compare your timelines with others. There have been people with March & April AOR's waiting patiently without any explanation or answers for the delay. Wait patiently & have faith, all will be good. Its just a matter of time.

Thank you very much for the response Scorpman21. However, I do not know if my Document Status changed to not needed or if it was always that. Do not remember seeing a status that said 'We require additional documents'.

Should I send an email to 'CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca' ?

Thank you once again for your response!

Hi everyone, just joined the thread.
My last status change is BG IP2 on 1st September, anxiously waiting. I'm sure most of you can relate.
Best of luck to all.

My application has been now moved from CIO to NDVO. I am currently at NA2 since 25th July and my additional document status says " We do not need additional documents". Is NDVO very slow in processing the application?
