The fastest way is you can call CIC and ask the agent about the status of your application;
You can also send them an email with an enquiry, and they will reply up to 7 days, or
You can order GCMS notes to see what's up.
 
is anyone's application being processed at visa office in Etobicoke IRCC.? I never heard of saying anyone.

Medical passed ( donot remember date)
ADR 3rd august 2017 ( schdule A)
Eligibility still in review
Background check says your application is in process. We will send u msg when we start ur background check.

I dont remember the changes in background status.
Can anybody tell me in which stage i am in and what is the next step.

I read somewhere that Etobicoke office processes refugees PR, claims etc. Maybe load sharing?

I'm from May 11 and I don't get anything as yet.. it's being 4 long months....

No rcmp request, and still no update (May 18) -.-
So I am not sure if RCMP actually delays the processing. o_O:eek:
 
Hi friends, i have one question may 6th aor, 21st july rcmp. Called cic today, says background check in progress same thing which says on mycic. Will there be next step or i might get ppr suddenly.
 
@aaruni I would like to know the same thing!!... May 17 AOR, RCMP for dependent requested on July 28 no updates since August 10 when ADR changed to being reviewed

I just see an update in my EE profile table..
Review of additional docs changed from additional documents you provided are being reviewed to " We dont need additional documents" .. I dont know when this was changed.. I think today..
btw I am may 04th CEC inland..
Background still says "N/A" ...

Oh noo! I was just checking my account for like the 4th time today and just noticed review of medicals results went from passed (July 28) to we are reviewing the results of your medical exam :(:(:confused:

Do you think they will ask for my husband to have the med exams redone? His I think will expire in October

If your background check has gone to in progress for the second time then you will see the email "Ready for Visa" anytime now :)

We just had a guy/girl who was called on the same office for the interview. (The office is near to the Kipling station.) The applicant was not clear what will happen there but it was just for few simple questions and the applicant was given COPR right away. :)

So that office isn't just for the refugees and asylum candidates. If you go back few Pages on this forum you can find the post about the interview.

DO not panic! Everything will be all right.
