I know this question has been asked before, but I couldn't locate the response.

I am the Principal applicant and I have all required documents.
My spouse does not have reference letters from employers because in EE it was stated that u need it only if you have Canadian work experience.
Now I am seeing that it is mandatory even without Canadian experience. I cant get the letters. Pls advice

I think that is because you claimed this experience.

I just called the bank where I have a savings account, and they said that they can provide a letter with account opening date and current balance, but they cannot include the average balance for the last six months. 1. Can I submit LOE and bank statements to show that the money has been in the account all this time? 2. Does a bank letter have to be dated after the ITA is received?

My bank refused to write any kind of letter so I uploaded statements from the last 6 months and wrote a letter of explanation.

I'd suggest you get the letter your bank is willing to give and supplement it with bank statements from the last 6 months. Try and get the letter as close as possible to your application date.

Good luck.

Hello Bill,
I have an urgent question.
My wife has stayed in the US for up to 6 months and a FBI Police clearance was required.
We made arrangements for it before submission and it is almost completed so I was not surpised when I got an ADR for her US FBI PCC.
We were given 60 days to submit this.
Surprisingly, they asked for FBI PCC for me too. I have only spent a total of 3 months on all my visits to the US.
My plan is to reply with her FBI PCC once we have it and also write back that I have only spent 3 months while applying for my FBI PCC at the same time.
Do you think this is a good plan ? Can the Officer see reason since I have only spent 3 months?
What do you think is the best step forward?

Yes, valid response. Just explain them that although you are not required this PCC, you have applied for it after their letter and it may take some time to arrive. Attach your PCC application along with LOE.

The CIC account status wont change for a month.

Then medicals ,Background verification and Final decision status will be updated one after the other.

I submitted my ITA on June 16th and got my COPR on August 24th....so its around 2 to 3 months...

Average balance is not mandatory. I had submitted bank certificate with just just account details, dates, current balance as you have said and it was accepted by CIC.
Below are the responses to your questions.
1. Yes. It will work.
2. Not required. But it has to be close to ITA received date.I believe it has to be within 6 months of ITA submission date.

If you have taken IELTS more than once, can you use any of the results, or do you have to use the latest result?

It doesnt add to CRS points. All instruction of CIC website says spouse experience letter is not needed except if he/she has Canadian experience. I am stucked now. Do I include LOE that their website says its not needed?

It is your own choice however CIC clearly states that if you submit more than one valid (not more than 2 years old) results then they will select the one that gives you highest scores.

I hope this will help.

hello guys,
I want to know if the SAVING ACCOUNTS could be considered as a source of the settlement funds, because I have some of the required minimum amount in my saving account.

Hi ahmed.saeed.
Perhaps savings accounts are something different in your country but, in mine, Savings Accounts are just another type of bank account so any funds stored in them are perfectly suitable for settlement funds (in fact, I would wager they're some of the MOST suitable since, unlike investments, they don't carry any risk, and the funds in them are usually unencumbered and completely transferrable if needed, and are already in cash form). The only issue would be if it were a joint savings account where the second account holder is not an accompanying spouse. But, again, perhaps savings accounts are different in your country...
