Thanks mate, seems to be coming along. Happy I can be on implied/bridging until it comes so not too stressed anymore.

Id be curious to see which agent other people who have been waiting as long got. See if there is a correlation between longer waits for certain agents etc
Whos been assigned to yours??

It appears to be IP2. However, you are not likely to get PPR unless all the aforementioned issues are resolved.

Perhaps, CIC wants all documents through MyCIC so that your actual application has reflection of it. Usually, additional docs are requested and uploaded through MyCIC account. If you see the additional doc upload slot in your MyCIC account then upload the requested docs ASAP. If you have already uploaded it make sure you have signed it and submitted it after the upload.

It's good that they have asked for explanation about the refused study permit. It gives you an opportunity to clarify this issue properly. Write a 'Letter of Explanation' (LOE) mentioning the technical issue that you faced during e-APR submission.

Upload the LOE on your MyCIC account, or as a Case Specific Inquiry at the CIC website mentioning your UCI and file number. You can also send them an email (to CPC Ottawa).
Thanks nazm.. I will upload within 2 3 days inshallah.

Finally became a Permanent Resident last Friday.

I did the landing at Lewiston–Queenston border. It took about 45 min as I arrived during shift changes. The officer asked to sign the COPR and to answer the criminality questions then he asked me about proof of funds. Most of my funds were in the 401 K plan but very easily accessible (in case someone is wondering if 401 k can be shown as proof). He then signed the COPR, congratulated me and gave me the welcome book.

You need to provide a bit more information about your situation TBH. You can be on implied status possibly.
Right now I am on visiting visa which was about to expire in 10 more days.
so i wanted to know if I can stay in canada or should I apply for extension.
regards

Yes land border. It's very quick it took me 45 minutes because I was waiting for the second shift. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes if there is no line

Finally some progress. My background check went from N/A to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.".

Is this IP2? How long do you think I will be here before PPR? Lowkey excited

Cheers mate.

AOR - March 29th
Medical Passed - April 12th
Background - IP2 August 17th

I had to provide police checks for both UK and Australia at the start so thinking it may still take me a bit of time to do both but good to see progress I guess and would be cheering if its within 12 days.

I ordered GCMS notes that came yesterday which I find interesting that it changed to IP2 today. I would daresay its worth paying the $5 to request them even if to create some activity on your account (can't hurt).
