Mine took about 5-7 working days.

Submitted mine last Wednesday and no news. Tried to call and email, no reply at all.

I finally managed to get someone on the phone (after calling 15 times in a row). The officer said my appeal was approved and I will receive a confirmation email tonight 6pm Singapore time. The way she said it, I was under the impression that they might send "bulk" confirmation, perhaps other will receive in the same time.

By the way, are you residing overseas? I am in Japan and wondering if there is a specific format for the fingerprints or just have the prints done on a blank paper and signed/stamped by the police station officer?

Heyy fellowwws,

My COC just got approved today, and it has 3 options of delivery:
1. self,
2. by Mail
3. By Proxy

What does by proxy mean?any idea?

Thanks

Proxy is if you know someone in Singapore, who has a work permit/residence card (other than tourist visa) and can pick up the COC for you.

I applied for appeal for wife's COC on 8/2 (Wed) - called them on Friday am and was told 5 working days - appeal was approved today 8/8 (Tue) and as has been mentioned above the email was received around 630 pm SGT. This was the 2nd appeal - thankfully they approved - did not provide any mariage certificate and no ADR yet for the COC. I hope CIC processes without it :-) AOR - Jul 16, Meds and IP1 - Jul 21

Hey Fellows,

So i just paid my COC application, must I wait for further instructions for fingerprints?or what's gonna happen next?

In my understanding, we have to wait until the application is approved and then go take our fingerprints (in Singapore or overseas, depends on where you reside) and mail the below documents to SPF COC office:

- fingerprints
- e-COC application confirmation
- payment receipt
- photos
- passport copy and letter of authorization (if you are using a proxy)

Anyone can confirm this is the right process?

Hi Guys,
So I just went to get my fingerprint. The fingerprint guy told me that Singaporean COC is the worst.Their police force just tend to ignore request and they tend not to even send your result on mail or even lose it.Any thoughts about this?
