Hi everyone,
Does the sponsor have to attend to the interview if I am called for it? Or is it only for the PA?
My husband will fly to Canada two weeks later. So if there will be an interview and he has to attend, he must fly back to Turkey. And that would be very costly.

I don't think the Sponsor has to attend the interview atleast from what I have seen on this forum.

My sponsor had just received an email yesterday about the transfer of my app to manila visa office

I sent my schedule a form tru webform on march 31, then sent to mail on july p6. . I should have sent it to mail since march 31, maybe if I did that, im already dm this month

Sponsor received an email only once,,it only,it says only one email- that the file was transferred to manila visa office.. When they will start the background check??

My background check is finally in process thanks to dear Ankara office.

And I guess my assumption was correct. So when you are asked to send an additional document, they give you a deadline for submission and they wait until that deadline. ( that's possibly because they put your file on hold and queu all the "missing document" files) That's exactly what happened in my case. But surely it may work out differently for others.

Yes, for almost two months it was not applicable.
