Hello Everyone,
Could someone please have a logical answer based on your experiences to my question.
Why for instance some user's applications move to "Decision in Progress", while other users' applications stay in Assessment ?.
For instance I submitted my application in July, 11, and an other user did in July, 12. mine is still in assessment since july 21, while his moved to Decision on Progress in August, 31.
In you opinion how does this happen. I personally don't believe that they go by first come for serve application.
I would greatly appreciate it if you kindly give me your opinion.
Best Regards,
Nobody really knows. I was expecting a speedy nomination as my profile is very straightforward and all documents were uploaded correctly but somehow still took more than 3 weeks.
But I believe it was because the ICT week and on the second week of July, the portal was not really working and there were also few movements on the application statuses. It was only after 19-Jul that I saw almost everyone updated to Assessment.
It also depends on how a case officer assess the application.

Real Motto to be chill and relax than getting tensed coz of no draws. Some assume tonight there will be a draw. Hopefully, fingers crossed.
One of the reasons I never posted any update on my application because I do not want to stress out myself when there is no movement and it worked. :)

As I remember, I created ONE key account one day. Immediately got email confirmation of having created ONE key account.

Next day again I opened ONe key account and put EE profile number and job validation code which I got from NOI mail and I got another email from OINP about my registration confirmation.

In you case, creating ONe key account is as good as having registered, I do not know. Here is the excerpt from oinp notification.

Please note, if you have already registered for Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream, you must submit your complete application through the OINP e Filing Portal within 14 days of registering a profile.
You need to create two accounts, one for ONe-Key (the first login with Username and password) and the second is the OINP e-Filing portal where you select which stream are you applying for (Last Name, First Name, Email). Creating a ONe-Key account will not automatically register you to the OINP streams.

We have already discussed this on several occasions. But, couldn't quite reach a consensus. CRS, NOCs, ties in Ontario, IELTS score and many other factors came into light in our discussions. But, I think one of the major factors for (specially) Assessment to DIP would be your set of documents and how simple/complete they seem to the Officer. Simpler the application speedier the process. Also, how soon your documents can be authenticated by the Officer. But, from submitting to Assessment no one really knows what happens behind the closed doors.

Hello,

I have received noi from Ontario last month and in the process of arranging all the documents. I got married just a couple of days before I got noi. My question is whether onip will require my wife's documents like passport, Ielts and Wes details along with mine to apply for pnp. My wife has applied for passport and I think it will take another 20 days to get it. Wes is also in progress.

Please suggest.

Please follow the below link:

Also you can apply only when the HCP quota is open from Ontario province. As on now, it is on hold.

Congrats on your marriage dude!! First question. Have you already registered in the ONe-Key account portal for Ontario? If yes, then its fine you can go ahead and submit your application alongwith relevant documents. But, if you have not registered to the portal, am sorry to tell you but it is closed and you have to wait till it opens up again.

As far as your documents are concerned then your spouse's passport is mandatory which has to be uploaded. IELTS is required for spouse, but only if you mention that you are married. WES is not required for spouse.

But, I guess you can go ahead and file your application without her passport because in your EE profile your status must be "Single". I would suggest you not to include you spouse at this point of time. Neither mention in the application that you are married. After you submit your application then you can mail them the change in your status. In the meanwhile your spouse's passport will also be ready.

The point is that act as a Single as of now and file the application. After it starts moving or even after you get nomination you can update your status depending upon the date on your marriage certificate. Legalities and tricks are involved in your issue man!!

Its a very tricky situation and I know many of the guys here might not agree to everything am suggesting you. Suggestions are welcome! @Wandering Mind , @bill Hyatt , @anwar01 , @iamxty

Pls don't kill me guys here for giving this advice. :D

Hey
Thanks for reply. I am very close to get all the documents. May be in another a month, I will get ready with all the docs.
Unfortunately, I have not registered on onip. Is it closed for everyone or they have closed it for specific NOC. I belong to 2171 NOC code.

They have currently paused it for all NOC code. Hopefully they resume it in a while. Fingers crossed. My suggestion is to get the documents ready for the same.

Closed HCP Stream and other streams as well. So you can proceed with collecting the docs and also updating your EE profile with your spouse addition. Get her IELTS score and Passport ready in the meanwhile.

Hello all!

I submitted my application for OINP on the 22nd of July and its status changed to 'assessment' on the 26th. However, after going through a lot of threads, I realised that I had only uploaded a digital copy of my passport photograph and not a scanned copy of the actual photograph's back with my name and DOB on it. Has anyone received a nomination in a similar case? Should I just scan and send a photograph upfront without them asking for it?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot :)
Even I submitted on same dates and got assessment status on same date

Congrats Bud, there are people waiting from 16th July still in Submitted, you should be lucky. Based on the analysis which we do in our Whatsapp group every 2 hours of Ontario time. We see progress with certain NOC, CRS score and some picked up based on a lot of permutations and combinations, which is unpredictable so far.
