Hi,

I am in trouble with my EE profile that I submitted already including my wife with CRS 425(without wife's ECA and IELTS).
Now I am planning to create a new profile without my wife while she is staying with me in Montreal.

Please advise me.

Thank you for your time.

You can certainly do that. I can help you more if you'll be more specific with any problems you are facing with.

I mean I want to recreate a new profile excluding my wife while she is currently staying with me in Montreal Canada.

Withdraw your current profile then create a new one with spouse as non-accompanying. What visa are you holding now?

I have been trying move to Canada since 2009..
I wish it goes much lower than this number.
but that what statistics got me 441

I think Canada has changed its policy as they got in 2017 so far more than they got in both 2016 & 2015 together.
so I think they are slowing down and reducing the number of ITAs with more gap in between.

~ is the change in policy official information ? or from a credible CIC source?

At this point of time, I don't care for the cut off. I just want a draw.

I got couple of points to make.

For the first time since December 2015, I am seeing a maintenance on a Wednesday morning, hours prior to the draw.

If the draw does happen today which thousands of us are praying for (dammit I seen a post here where one person said that he went to the Temple for the draw to happen today) that means we could see them add more capacity to their site because of the heavy load they tend to face on Wednesday. This only endorses my theory, a theory I bought forth last Wednesday, a theory that reaffirms that they wanted to have a draw last week but due to the repeated attempts to connect to their site through various devices and chrome extensions, they faced a denial of service and hence some of us on Wednesday were facing some sort of disturbance.

I urge you guys once again not to use automatic tools to bombard the CIC pages as if they face a denial of service, no one will be able to upload anything on that page. :)

If the draw does not happen today it will indeed once again crush our expectations.

All the best everyone. May it rain ITAs today!

I took the IELTS too on 29th July, did your Listening section contain a map with the hotel names in Section 2? I messed up atleast 2 there I think :( . Reading was not too bad for me, I had the one with the Kuala Lampur Railway Station as the last paragraph, am not sure about the multiple choice questions in that. I think my Writing and Speaking went okay, fingers crossed for Listening and Reading. Good luck to you as well.
My listening section 2 did contain map but it was not for a hotel if i remember correctly. Part 3 and 4 were all fill in the blanks which were not too difficult. Reading also was easy, but i messed up in part 4. Your reading and mine was different though. Thanks a lot and all the very best to you too :)

Guys from India, Can we show PF amount as proof of settlement fund for pnp application?
No clear view on this.

There are people who claimed it is acceptable and they even got PR.

While there are other people saying the opposite. It's better you email to IRCC team and check with them. The issue is that the balance in PF account is not a liquid asset.

This is by the far one of the most interesting threads. I am wondering if they people here can give me advice based on my situation. I am in Canada.

-MPNP Nomination received July 12 ( paper based)
-WES ECA will be completed Aug 8. I will have 425 points under FSW Express Entry. EE Lowest Score is 441
-One year work anniversary Sep 25. I will qualify for CEC.
-PGWP expires ......................Nov 3

1. While I am happy that I have three open doors to PR. I am uncertain what to do because the paper based application takes 16 months to process. It takes 3 months to receive an AOR. The reason why I want to apply for CEC is that it is processed in 6 months with an immediate AOR versus the 16 months and 3 month AOR for the paper based application.

2. If I am patient and hold off on sending the MPNP PR paper based and apply for the CEC I should receive the CEC AOR before Nov 3 when my work permit expires. I am nervous about that plan because I hear you guys saying that CEC has slowed down. Suppose I hold off on the MPNP PR and then they put a hold on CEC, then I won't be able to get the BOWP.

3. Alternately I'm thinking about applying for both since they are different streams but we are a family of 5 and the application fee is $ 2500 for each application, plus like $1500 for medicals. I feel like I will be throwing away $2500 if I apply for MPNP PR now and then still apply for CEC at the end of September.

Please comment and share your thoughts on this. What would you do? Thanks for your answers.
