Awww. Yeah last two weeks i was doing the so called refresh party of f5 party @ CIC, usually i stay here for draw days and at times it was quite depressing really! All expert predictions of immigration experts saying CRS can fall as low as 380 by the end of the year can go down the drain now lol. IELTS went well specially L/R & S but but doubtful with Writing. Hopefully i can feel what its like to have CLB 9 hmmm

You did well so you need to reward yourself a bit! Too bad I can't have a drink with you now

Awwww, that was so inspiring Jojo! That is one beautiful journey you shared and thank you so much for the link or else i couldn't have got to read it. It is quite frustrating to know now how we both were unaware in the past what IELTS does to CRS score and couple of years went away just like that! You have dealt a far too many blow and yet, you kept walking. You really are a fighter. I mean like 332 and you never stopped believing and here i am just 31 and unmarried (hence i get more points) and i kept on regretting on my past IELTS failures. But seriously, this is my 4th time in nearly 2 years and it is bit embarrassing because i lived in a English speaking country for 7.5 years. But after reading about your journey, i will admit i am inspired, and if i still don't get the level 9 and OINP won't resume, i will fight for it just like you did.

I have finally come to the core of my problem which is the most important. It is lack of focus, it's not with the skill or techniques, i can't focus for too long. I will work on the root problem first and keep practicing even when i have not already booked a date. Awww, please don't feel that way. You are already half way there. But yes i agree, it is so good to be back and among us regular friends. One missing person is my country fellow xibalban but i'm sure he will join again. Too bad he didn't join my vibergroup or else i would have had his direct contact. I had to stay away in order to prepare for IELTS, i did it reluctantly or else i wouldn't invested time in practice. I hardly practiced for past exams. But now at last, i guess even CIC wanted (sarcasm) us all to be active here in order to conduct a draw lol.

Let me tell you a fact, you are going to get an ITA. Wether it is next week, the week after or whenever. How you spend that time is up to you. I will give you my example, I have always been late to the party and have always caught myself rushing in life trying to make it here and there, let it be. The seconds are going to tick at the same rate wether you feel you.re having a tough day or the best day, however the seconds will go faster or seem to if you must let it be, wake up, have your coffee go about your day and feel b,eased that you are able to do that whilst having a secure and solid score and future awaiting in Canada. Your attitude is what changes your luck from being tough to being easy. Relax cause there will be a time when you will miss these moments and your current situation...this is coming from a India who has lived half he's life in Africa and Miami and at this point planning on moving to India...with no expectations, no connections, no family (family is back in US and Africa)...but guess what, I'm looking forward to moving to India whilst you're feeling you have tough luck coz you're in India...it's all a matter of perspective, we live once ma man...wether India, Canada, USA, Africa, Europe doesn't matter, where thou heart is, thou home is...so live your moments not hoping for the draw to happen today or tomorrow but for whenever it does, IT DOES...

Bro WES issued my ECA after 45 days and I missed the draw where the cutoff was 413, my CRS score is 414 so hmm all of us should not worry and be patient remember think positive and send out good vibes into the universe

don't be surprised...I'm waiting for you guys to upload my documents ...
half serious half kidding....I had started sorting out my experience letter & Qatar PCC issue since April & now I'm inching closer to getting both resolved....but anyway it won't be untill last week of August that I'll be able to upload my full set docs.

by the way I've booked medicals for coming Wednesday....so once it is done all I'd be waiting would be for my reference letter & Qatar PCC....will surely keep u guys posted...I'm sure we all will continue the journey together...
& keep a check on Xibalban for all of us...bring him back.....may be you should help him with ur special skills with damsels to lure him back to PIE......I remember u referring some websites ...
& Really happy to hear your test went well and bit tensed about the task 2 now that you've mentioned...but don't worry you'll get CLB9......

I understand the pressure of the delayed draw & the uncertainty has affected the general sentiment & the mood of our little group here....but hey,everyone please remember that we are looking at "forever in Canada" and a week or two more of wait for that dream,we will take in the right spirit.........

You are one nice guy here lino, let me tell you that! Having said that, you aren't any less funny either hahahaha. Well done with sorting out documents, i remember you had bit difficulty with Qatar PCC. So end of August don't seem that bad now. Don't know really what is the story with xibalban. If he had joined my vibergroup, i would have known first hand. But as of now, i am as good as you are about him. If he comes back again, i will ask him to join the group. Maybe i will give him the login of my POF as well so he can access profiles of some PEI ladies there lol.

IELTS was going tremendously well until Writing Task 2's paragraph 2 began . At one point i was like, man i can score 9 in listening and my nerves started acting hence i missed one and one got confused. 38 can still do for me. Same with the Reading. I am not a fast reader, forget very fast. Before 30 mins (during practices it usually took 40 mins) i was done with 27 questions and i had full 30 mins for last part and surprisingly final part wasn't so much of a difficult reading either. Still i managed to miss one and had to guess one. 34 is the minimum i need and i think i am good for that too. But for when i came to Writing task 2 my nerve really took over. I was like i got through the hard part, i just need one more hour to focus, but i guess i may have went off track. Still hoping i will make it this time.

Damn am i compensating for my Writing here in the forum or what lol. Anyway, i wish you all the best and all your documents are approved soon. You deserve it mate

Aww..hey, the two of you, we are just hanging around here. Although losing hope at times, I still try to keep the positive vibe, as we should be. I've a few tricks up my sleeve to help me keep my sanity. One that I find most helpful now is shopping! For me, it is a bad idea but this is better than losing my own self

Now i read this, it reminded me of a movie i watched many years ago, Confession of a shopaholic, nice movie Having said that, not referring to you at all, cos in the movie shopping was a full time job whereas in your case, its not lol Oh yeah, you might do some for the grand prix, could be your last in Singapore eh

Hi guys, got an ITA in April but some documents delayed and was not able to submit the application for PR in time so declined and went back in the pool mid this month. I still have 470 points. What are my chances of another invitation? Just one critical document remaining. Been waiting anxiously for the next draw.

Aye mate How are you? Hope the forum is going strong as ever even though CIC is not! lol. I also appeared for the IELTS today. Feel like it went pretty well until the Writing part. Hoping i didn't mess it up and get the level 9 this time. All the best to your better half too. I'm sure she too wouldn't have any problem getting level 9 just like you. It seems more and more like we both will be heading the OINP route cos if IELTS don't work out this time again, i am so done with it, lol.

Hey @KingKurly a massive welcome back! You've certainly been missed over the past few weeks. I thought you and my wife were doing the IELTS today. I hope you smashed it. I can definitely see a few of us all landing at the same time.

Well, I am a shopaholic too, an impulse buyer, so I try to stay away from shopping malls if I can Yeah, F1 is 2 months away, my last chance and hoping to get a free pass again! Looking forward to Ariana Grande's concert hahaha!
