My score will be 423 in sept. If I go for IELTS again and get 8777 my score will be 470+. My current score is 8.5,8,8,6.5
Should I go for IELTS again or just wait?

Today is that rare occasion.Any idea if there is a possibility of a draw today. I checked the historical data, found that almost 90% of the times, it happens on Wednesday. On rare occasions, they do it on Friday ?

My suggestion is wait 2 draws, you should get ITA by then.

Go for IELTS, that's a huge boost for small investment. Don't leave anything to a chance.
Thanks, I have just entered in the pool few days ago hence didn't follow previous draws. It happens usually around midnight in India, right ?
If I were you, I would definitely take the IELTS again to improve my chances. Yes, we are all hopeful that CRS scores will go down, but no one can really say for certain when it will happen. Why not improve your chances when it is so within your means? A 470+ score is a shoo in.
Oh how I wish I were in your position, and could improve my score so drastically by just improving my IELTS score.
I was in the similar situation, hence gave IELTS again. Just target your weak area, mine was writing hence just worked on it, minimum 3-4 hours a day for about 20 days. Does not help if you score 9 in Reading but scored 6.5 in writing. So better forget your strong areas and work hard on weak ones

I would say please wait for at least 2 more draws and hopefully you will get ITA ... all the very best ..
