Thanks, The good thing about it is that we made it this far going on 10months. Hopefully is not that long now for you and your spouse. I admit me and my wife were getting a little impatient It's nice to be planning her welcome to Canada, finally and not worry about more documents or an interview .

I have the same feeling... but I bet now you have pace on you mind, this sometimes feels like a nightmare, besides us we have our relatives and friends who keep harassing us with a bunch of questions like, when are you moving with your husband? why is it taking so long? or the idea of been apart from your love and no feeling like a normal married couple, where the only way of keeping the flame of love is videocalls and text messages but is better than nothing, and so on we choose this life for love and commitment, my bad I got sentimental

Awwwwww! Distance is sooo hard. Just keep the faith and remember everyday you are one day closer. This forum helps when others are going through the exact same thing.

Yeah i know the feeling, u can get as sentimental as you want , I'm pretty sure everyone in here feels the same way. Atleast you know that it's only a matter of time before your together . Hopefully u hear something soon. I really didn't do anything , didn't order any notes, only sent a few messages to the VO to confirm they recieved everything they asked for and it all still went pretty good. In some cases I guess it's only a matter of waiting .

Congratulations for the baby....

Some notes are taking longer, is good that you send an email inquiring an update, I hope they send you the notes and not an email saying it will take longer than the standard time. Just some questions when was the last time you heard from the VO? are you done with the PCC and the medicals?
It seems that the background checks take lots of time. If you have sent the police certificates then they probably are still working on the backgrounds stuff.

When ordering notes it says that it may take more than 31 days as there is a back log. If after 31 days you get nothing follow up. Ive seen it where they say they need more time to get information from other countries

Ah ok. That's what I thought but just wanted to check for sure.
I'm so nervous right now. I was half expecting my husband to be requested for an interview. He hasn't gotten anything yet. I don't know if I should be worried or what lol
