How can we get File#? I was waiting for their email to be able to check my file statusThey don't send aor's in email anymore. The dates that are in the spreadsheet are when the people were able to see that status 'Application Received' in ECAS.

Yes I remember there was a question like that on one of the forms. When I try to link an application, I get a parameter as Intented City and province. I dont recall ever putting that in the application. Did people put sponsor's city in it?
and sorry to ask again, is the client ID my pr card#? because yesterday that I talked to cic agent, he told it is not.http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/my_application/status.asp
You can just use your client id. They send the file number with the sponsorship approval email.
I think it says ID No right below your name on the card.and sorry to ask again, is the client ID my pr card#? because yesterday that I talked to cic agent, he told it is not.
in the forms I left UCI blank as in the guide it was mentioned leave it blank if it is the first time you are contacting cic.
yes, but the operator yesterday told not to use it.I think it says ID No right below your name on the card.
Oh my my.. definitely not that I remember.. can someone tell me which form requested thisYes I remember there was a question like that on one of the forms.
UCI is the only thing we have to search in ECAS particularly when AOR is not received. Was the operator able to search with just name and dobyes, but the operator yesterday told not to use it.
IRCC phone operators are sometime not very knowledgeable to say the least. The xxxx-yyyy number on your PR card is your Client ID, you should be able to use it and link the application online (3-4 weeks after initial submission, at least that was the timeline in my case, wasn't able to do it before).yes, but the operator yesterday told not to use it.
As far as I remember it was in the generic application for permanent residence form.Oh my my.. definitely not that I remember.. can someone tell me which form requested this
