Hi @gurik,

Yes, I had paid RPRF upon request for the same.

When I paid the fees, they had sent me a payment confirmation receipt in pdf format. I was instructed to upload the same receipt through MyCIC account.
When you receive an RPRF request, your MyCIC account will show 'RPRF fees pending' in your 'Documents checklist' section. It'll have a blank field to upload the receipt.
Once you upload it, then it'll show 'RPRF receipt submitted'.

However, apart from the payment confirmation receipt, you won't get any type of status change in your account. But, rest assured as the receipt itself is a proof that you have paid it (it states 'Payment successful').
Some people get some changes in their 'Additional doc' sentence, but many don't.

Hope it helps.
Thanks for the info. I was requested and paid my RPRF on 11-July. After that there is no change. Any idea about what furthur update should i get and any idea about expected time?

Its showing same for me. Its been 7 days today that i had paid my RPRF and still waiting for furthue update.
I guess all we got to do is wait and watch. I am just trying to presume that I have just sent my documents for ECA to WES and I should be able to put in my file in a month's time under EE. This thought process should help me avoid the frustration resulting from this long waiting time I reckon.

Thank you so much for the detailed response my friend! This will be very helpful to others who paid RPRF later on. Appreciate it:)

Congrats Ip2. PPR anytime now.

"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."

How to deduce if its IP1 or IP2, if we do not track it on a regular basis..

It is IP2, share you Aor and medical pass dates to be sure.

I reckon you already have a job waiting at Ottawa branch of IRCC @gurik. It is quite possible that you might be analyzing the files of Indian applicants and filling out the GCMS notes on the basis of your thorough and rigorous checks 2 to 3 months down the line at any state-of-the-art premises of IRCC in Ottawa ;) In fact, this very idea of working with IRCC as an analyst has motivated me to head to Ottawa now instead of leaving for Vancouver.

Btw, how was your trip to the VFS office at Chandigarh? How long did it take you to get through with the entire process there? Did you have to fill out any form in there? Lastly, how much did you pay in total at the VFS?
@gurik please share your experience. Thanks

Calculate 90 days. October 11. More difficult expressions will come.

Hi PR Gurus.. I have submitted my application on May 11 under CEC and its been 2.5 months, there is not a single update since then. Not even the review of medical result. Should I presume that the officer will update everything at one time? not getting a clue what is happening.. need your expert comments guys..

Sorry I did not post my query clearly, earlier.

I was wondering, how you said its IP2 for Vani whose BG status was "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."
It could be IP1 as well? Is there a way to distinguish between IP1 and IP2.. will there be different wordings for IP1 and IP2?

My AOR is May 4th and not even meds passed (thanks to PNP)

For IP1, the wording is "Your application is under process. We will let you know when we start your background check."
For IP2, the wording is "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you."
