If someone can help me clear my doubts on the sponsorship questionnaire

The question is " are we living together"

Now I am getting married end of this year outside of Canada and plan on traveling back to Canada with my new wife. Now, I am a Canadian citizen and she is not. She will be coming here on her TRV visitors visa. I will be sponsoring her (outland) and sending in her PR application after we get back.

Now should I let CiC know that that she is now living with me or should I give them the impression that she is still living outside Canada and she is only her on visitors visa. Clearly the intention is to stay together, and not leave the county once it nears her visas expiry date.
Does she have a TRV or are u going to apply for one?

So i m just wondering, I m 25 th oct 2016 applicant. 2 days ago I got a request to show proof of intent to return to Canada cuz i m in pak with my wife and yesterday my wife got a re med request. Now, what do you guys think that has the eligibilty been passed already and they r just waiting fr the re med and proof of intent or the eligibilty is yet to be determined? Wheredoes my application stand right now?

I uploaded PCC and Schedule A, now the status in MyCIC says, "Review of additional documents The additional documents you provided have been uploaded."

How long does it take for this status to change to under review or the like?

Hi Guys,

I'm a newbie!

I have applied for sponsorship in December, I got the approval letter for sponser, and my husband got the approval that he qualifies for PR, they requested a passport. My husband is also a refugee claimant he's waiting on his court date for over a year now (issues with the first court date they said that they will give him a new one with new members) Therefore they have his passport, he cant even get a new one or renew the one they have. I explained that to CIC. Will we come across any issues?

Hi guys,

I am getting married in January 2018 and I was thinking to apply Canada visitor visa for my wife immediately after that andI am not sure if that would be the right thing to do at that time.

Question: Does it matter if we apply for visitor visa Canada before applying for PR? Also, one of my friends told me that you should only apply it after your sponsorship gets approved? Is it true?

Question2: Also, my wife will quit her job before getting married. Will it affect the situation when applying for visitor visa afterwards in regards to explaining strong ties with the home country?

1. Does not matter when she applies for tourist visa. If, unfortunately, she gets denied, you have to disclose this information.
2. Absolutely.

Did you get your PPR yet? I am sure you can. Just like those who are working in Middle East, when they got their PPR, they submitted the passport to the nearest VAC where they are instead of MVO.

Dear all,

My husband got accepted for sponsorship, and got the visa on his passport.
I would just like to ask what should we expect when he enters Canada the first time. What documents are needed other that the CORP...
In addition, on the visa he got on the passport it says 1 entry. However, after the first visit we plan to return back to our home country after a month and a half finish our business there and then go back to Canada. So my question is will he receive another visa or a PR card that would allow him to enter Canada as much as he wants from that date and onwards? Would we have to apply for a certain form/application? and would it be done in a month and a half to be able to travel again??

Thanks so much.
P.S. we both are living abroad if that would make any difference.
