If your employer is willing to address the letter to IRCC, then it would be as follows:

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
Government of Canada
Canada
Thanks LegalFalcon. Appreciate your response. Could you also please clarify on below questions :
1. My employer does not provide the roles and responsibilities in the employment reference letter. However, my supervisor agreed to provide a letter with my job duties. Is it sufficient if this letter is notarized ? Is there anything else to be added to this letter specifically ?

2. For my spouse work history, I initially created one entry in my application with NOC 2171. But now, I would like to split the work history to NOC 2171 & 0213 as he held 2 positions during his tenure with the same employer. Can I update my application after receiving the ITA ? Please clarify.

Thanks

The letter should include all the details asked by IRCC in the reference letter, along with your supervisor's contact details. Also add other documentary proof, like any promotion letters, employment letter, pay stubs, IT returns etc. If you can have another colleague write another reference letter, that would help too.

2. For my spouse work history, I initially created one entry in my application with NOC 2171. But now, I would like to split the work history to NOC 2171 & 0213 as he held 2 positions during his tenure with the same employer. Can I update my application after receiving the ITA ? Please clarify.

Yes, you can when you fill the forms post ITA as long as your maintain the minimum CRS score, which you will as you are only splitting the job.

Thanks

Hi, LegalFalcon

Thank you for your continuous support for us: the forum members. I was going through my notes and would like to know about few things.

Primary Office: Centralized Intake Office
Secondary Office: CPC-Ottawa
1. Does this mean once my file is done at CIO it will move to Ottawa for finalization and in anyway this represents a bit faster processing (Does some file move directly to VO after CIO)?
2. Under security 1 there is Due Date: 2017/07/03. Does it represent any internal deadline the agents need to meet? If so, can I hope that my security may be done now (if every thing went fine)?

Thanking you

Earlier the trend was that at the files used to mover from CIO - CPC, Ottawa - LVO. However, in the last few months, the files have been sent to different departments based on the workload. So after the CIO, you file can potentially go straight to LVO, and irrespective of which office your file is, it does not make any difference in processing.

2. Under security 1 there is Due Date: 2017/07/03. Does it represent any internal deadline the agents need to meet? If so, can I hope that my security may be done now (if every thing went fine)?

The due date has no significance as a lot of application see movement way before it and some keep pending even after the due date has passed.

Thanking you

Hi @legalfalcon, My Documents status is at "We are reviewing the additional documents received". I had attached LoE with its related documents on my e-APR submission. And I did not hear anything about my BGC on the CIC Automated Message, so I am assuming BGC is in NA. Could you please tell me if my Application is in IP1 or IP2 status. Much appreciated.

I have constantly stated that I do not believe in speculation. This whole thing of IP1 and IP2 is based on changes to status and people ASSUMING that this could be a specific thing. None of those have been corroborated. I would rather rely on GCMS notes. Although, and status update is a good news. However, if you want to keep checking your MyCIC a few times a day and keep a track of when your stats changes to IP and then back to Na, before finally going to IP again, you can do so and join the band wagon which many have here.

As regards your status message for documents, it doesn't state much except what it says. However, You should be more interested in which stage your application is in. Completeness - Criminality - Eligibility and BGC. This is the fundamental stages that every application passes through.

Apologies, if my answer cams as a disappointment, but I do not believe in speculation, but hard facts.

Thanks @legalfalcon. I am applying through a consultant, so I do not have the credentials to access myCIC. I call the CIC Automated Status once in 2-3 days to get an update. Maybe I shall order the GCMS once my eAOR completes 60-70 days. What do you reckon?

GCMS should be your go to source when it comes to accurate infro on your application. Applying before 60-70 days post AOR would not yield results. Apart from GCMS, you can call IRCC, and in some cases email and CSE has been helpful too, so don't neglect those.

Had one last query, does the CIC Automated Status Message also speak about BGC (Provided the BGC is not NA currently). Or calling up IRCC or emailing them is only the option to get to know my BGC status? Thank you so much for your time. Forgive me if I was naive in any manner, I am very new to all of this (that is why I chose the consultant route as well). Much appreciated.

Honestly, I am not sure as I have personally never called IRCC, except once for my own application, and the response I received was the canned one, after which I never called, instead ordered GCMS. It would be advisable to post your question on other thread and see what other applicants have experienced.

Hi,
I have a question.
My passport expires next year in June. Looking at the processing times for CEC at present and assuming that a PPR will come late, my passport would have only a validity of 6 months or maybe less left with it.
Is there an issue with stamping visa on my passport if such a case may happen?
Indian passports can be renewed one year in advance, on enquiry with the local embassy. I didnt renew the passport, since there was more than one year left on it during my application and during AOR. I just wanna prepare myself considering the present processing times.

Should I renew the passport/ Should I wait for PPR?

Kindly advise.

Thank you

Ideally, you should create a profile the day you complete your 1 year work experience, as the minimum required eligibility for FSW is 1 year. As soon as your profile is up, you are eligible for the next draw.
Great!! Thanks for the quick reply.

Just wanted to know how much time does it take (assuming I have all the information handy) to start from scratch till the time the profile is up ?

Not more than 30-45 minutes

Hello @legalfalcon. Thanks so much for your valuable inputs. I have a something to ask if possible. My AOR was on June 10, Passed medical on July 8, and background check is N/A (IP1 was completed on the same day.) Regarding eligibility, I claimed points for two work experiences. For my current job I provided a detailed reference letter as per CIC request. Now, and because my old employer is a jerk, I couldn't get a reference letter for my old job (for one year), but I provided the following:
- Emails where I requested the letter and their refusal,
- Declaration from my coworker back then explicitly detailing my employment period there,
- Scanned copy of her signed reference letter (written on the company's letterhead and signed by the employer) to prove she was indeed a coworker during my employment period,
- Emails between my boss and I, asking me to do some tasks and clearly showing that I was indeed an employee doing tasks according to the NOC. I attached emails for each month of the employment period for which I claimed points.

Any idea what are my chances to pass eligibility? Thank you so much.
