Might sound silly, but is it possible to get OHIP with the DM letter? I never received any AIP letter and am currently waiting for the landing invitation which may take up to 8 weeks.

That's so odd that you never got the AIP e-mail. I would also see if my MP could sort it out. Explain about the OHIP and having to wait the 3 months after that. Hopefully the AIP letter can be backdated to the day IRCC was supposed to send it by e-mail.

Just received a letter from CIC stating that, '..you have met the criteria for PR, the application will be processed further on receipt of medical and police clearances'.

Also, this email has come two days after we received an email stating that the decisions had already been made and that the Etobicoke office would contact us for further formalities.

Really, the CIC communication defies any logical sequence.

Now its AIP after DM. Congrats Erable_rouge!!!

Mia, DM came on the Saturday (or Friday late) and call came on Monday morning, Landing appointment letter Monday afternoon.

Praying that you did not get flooded again yesterday.

We had a pretty nasty line of storms roll through here this morning, which spawned Severe Thunderstorm Warnings from EC. I know they usually roll into town after they paid London a visit. So, my concern was that it could knock power out again at a very vulnerable time (the volume of rain we got was tremendous).

Yeah EC said severe warnings. I think/hope it is clearing up. More rain in the forecast for tomorrow.

For us it seems to have moved on. It's only cloudy here now. But apparently the roof of the building at work has a tiny hole in it... ^^^ directly above where my chair is at my desk.... we found out today
