Hi @BillHyatt,

For PoF, is it mandatory to show 6 months old bank statement.
I have opened a new Saving account in April 2017, so it would be about 3 months old account.
Will it work?

Hi All,

Is there anyone who has created his profile this week, has a CRS less than 400 and has already received an NOI?
Please do let me know.

Hi Guys,

I am currently completing the registration process for Ontario Immigration Nomination Program. However, I'm getting error with regards to my spouse Language Proficiency Score. What is the minimum CLB score for common law partner? Can you guys advise?

Thanks
Hi just proceed with her actual score and ignore the error.

Hi,

You also had the same error? I'm scared to proceed and pay 1,500 CAD. Just to confirm. What is the minimum score for common law partner? Is it just an error with the website?

Hi Saurabh,

It's a very common thing and everybody seems to be confused over it.
To resolve the confusion:
1. If you do not have birth certificate: Then you should have Non Availability of Birth Certificate (NABC). You may google it.
2. If you have the birth certificate and Name is not mentioned on it: Simply get an affidavit stating that the certificate (mentioning date, certificate number, you parents name etc) belong to you.
3. If you have Birth Certificate and Name is mentioned on it: Good to go ahead with your process.

I hope it would help others as well.
Good Luck.
Hello,

I am stuck in the same dilema. My birth certificate also doesn't have my name on it and I didn't know that I had to submit supporting affidavits. I have already submitted my application to Ontario(last week of June) and it is under Assessment. Till now, I haven't received any email from Ontario asking for any missing documents. I can get the affidavits prepared in one day, however my question is once i get them , should i email Ontario (attaching the affidavits) on my own or should i wait until i get any email from them , asking for it. Thanks. Looking to hear back from someone.

Regards,
Prateek

Hi Prateek,

Wait if they ask you then only provide the affidavit. Else let it be.
Good luck.

Hello every one ,

I got this message from Ontario on my Express Entry Profile. It is a letter of interest and there was no pdf attachment. It is like the following :

Ontario would like to consider you under their Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Dear xxx xxx,

The Government of Ontario is interested in considering you for nomination under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) through Express Entry.

If you want Ontario to consider you for nomination under its PNP you must contact Ontario directly after receiving this letter. Note that this letter of interest is not a guarantee that you will be nominated by Ontario. You will first have to satisfy Ontario that you meet the requirements of their program.

You can find general information about each province or territory's PNP program on the website. You will also find a link to Ontario's PNP requirements and contact information.

General information:

If a province or territory nominates you through Express Entry and you accept the PNP nomination you will be allocated an additional 600 points in the Express Entry Comprehensive Ranking System. This means you will likely receive an invitation to apply for permanent residence under the Provincial Nominee Program.

If you accept a nomination, you are indicating to both Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and that provincial or territorial jurisdiction that you intend to live in that province or territory and that you will comply with any other provincial or territorial program requirements.

Once you accept a nomination, your profile will no longer be visible to other provinces and territories, so you will not be considered for nomination by other jurisdictions. You will also not be considered for federal economic programs in Express Entry.

If a province or territory nominates you and you decline the PNP nomination, you will not be invited to apply under Ontario's nominee program

It is possible to be nominated by more than one province or territory, but you may only accept one nomination.

If you decline the nomination, you will stay in the Express Entry pool of candidates. You will still be eligible to receive invitations to apply under the federal immigration programs (Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and/or Canadian Experience Class). As well, other provinces and territories (if applicable) will be able to see your profile for future consideration.

You are not obligated to:
contact a province or territory that is interested in you, or
accept a nomination from a province or territory.

However, if you do not accept a nomination, there is no guarantee that you will be nominated by another province or territory, or that you will be invited to apply under a federal economic program in Express Entry.

A PNP nomination does not guarantee that you are eligible for permanent residence. The final decision to issue a visa or other document for permanent residence rests with IRCC.

Note that, and according to their website updates, Ontario is now considering sending nominations to those who score under 400 in their express entry profile ..

What should i do next ? just create a profile with Ontario pay the fees and wait?
Congratulations on getting Ontario Notification of Interest (NOI)... there won't be any pdf.. just save this letter.. use chrome browser's print feature & save it as PDF.. you will need it while submitting your application..

If you would like to go for it..then remember the thumb rule.. this NOI is valid for 6 months from the receipt of this NOI.. within those 6 months, you have to create ONe-Key account/profile..now once you create this account.. you have 14 days.. to submit docs and pay fees..so say you created ur account on 1st of August then by 15th August you should submit all supporting docs and pay fees $1500

..so first of all, gather all required documents and then proceed

Congrats again...
