I got my notes on July 3, 2017. Nothing much has changed. Application due date: August 13, 2017.
Today, I got my CSIS report, and it says that security check was completed on April 12,2017 and report was send.
Now I don't know what else to do. I went to MP and gave him a copy of CSIS report.

I really think something is badly wrong in Ankara VO!!! But the good news is that now they have no excuse not to send you the PPR email!! I think you should ask your MP to push Ankara hard to send you the PPR email.

I am glad your husband's security check is completed. Would you please let me know what link and where you applied for CSIS report?
I need to do the same. We are now passing 14 months of waiting.

I faxed my CSIS request yesterday too, hopefully they won't take long with a response. My husband's security started on December 28th, so I'm pretty sure CSIS completed his check back in April too.

My due date is August 13th too, but don't even pay attention to these dates, they're automatic and don't make sense because they will finish your file based on security check completion, not because of a due date.

As for notes, there was definitely some progress for my husband, more blank space and other things as I mentioned in my previous post. Yes it's been a long while but I'm pretty sure it's coming to an end and God Willing PPR will arrive anytime now!

Exactly, seems like we are all in the same batch We all have to get PPR one after another!

I know it's hard, extremely hard but patience is golden) We waited for so long, it has to be worth the wait - stay positive!

We just got an email that our file is transferred to Ankara VO to continue our outland spousal sponsorship. Does anyone have experience how long it takes for background check and passport request?
As I see in other VO it takes at most 1-1.5 months for this step!

I hope yours would be quicker than our, as we are 32 people that are waiting for more than 14 months now. Our visa office is Ankara as well, so its case by case no one knows how longGood luck

Hi. Welcome to the group. Normal processing time is 8 months. Parmida got it in 4 months. They applied Feb and got it on June.

Did Parmida applied feb directly to Ankara? our application started on 2nd may at Mississauga and now they sent it to Ankara for BC...according to other VOs I expect ours to be finished in August

No it started in Mississauga on Feb. Whole process took 4 months including the sponsor approval. Have you submitted schedule A, Police certificate and medical already? I made a mistake normal processing time has change to 12 months for applicants after Dec 2016 but It can be as quick as total 4 months. I hope yours go smoothly. What is the applicant nationality? If your file is selected for security screening then it will take long.
