If IRCC made a mistake, they will reevaluate it and set your file back in motion. Depending on how far your file had reached, as in if the eligibility had been completed, it will start from there. Expect a few weeks time and you will see some progress. It would be advisable to get a set of GCMS a few weeks down the line, just to be sure.
Ok thank you legalfalcon, i was keep reading your posts since i submitted profile. You are very helpful and thank you for that.
My case was at last stage, medical: passed, eligibility:recommend pass, criminality: passed, as i got result security must have been completed.file was in ottawa. So hopefully, will get some good response.

Do you know, if they'll still require any document. They will ask for it as my pcc's will expire soon.

Most likely not as they are working on the same application and your PCC are only to be valid on the date of AOR. I doubt any documents will be asked. They may ask for your education documents at the most.

You only need to scan the current passport if your old passport has no visas and stamps.
Thanks, @legalfalcon, I don't have any 'active' visas or stamps in my old passport - there are many in In/Out stamps of multiple countries especially Canada and expired Canada Visas for old work permits and of visitor permits which are expired. I trust what you meant is I don't need to upload if there are no active Visas? or should I upload the old entry/exit stamps and expired Visas?

If you have arrival and departure stamps then you should upload the old passport too. Lately IRCC has been asking for all pages to confirm travel, and the old passport, if it has stamps, should be uploaded. However, make sure that you demarcate the old and the new passport properly so that it doesn't mix up.

If CEC apply after 60 - 70 days, if not 90 days, if at all you want to see anything meaningful.
Thanks for your quick response!

Follow up Ques:

1. It takes on avg 80-100 days nowadays for CEC applicants. So When I apply after 60 days it will take around a month to process the notes. Do you think I will have enough time in hand to respond to sonthing via CSE if there is anything wrong with my application?
2. When I receive the note does it give me the notes from the day I apply or the day it generates?
3. Whats the best link in terms of cost and processing time?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks @legalfalcon for your insight and I'm glad I asked this question. I'd overlooked the need of expired passport pages until now

Guys, the document checklist still say this:
"You must submit a legible copy of your valid travel document which you will use to travel.

If you have a passport, you must provide a copy of:

  • the page that shows your birth date and country of origin, and
  • any pages with stamps, visas or markings."
Why should we upload all pages and the previous passports also? My daughter has 3 passports with stamps, visas-does it mean I should upload all of her passports? I have 2 and my husband has 2 with stamps...

And I have already uploaded my daughter's valid passport with stamps only. I can not make changes now, right?

The document checklist from IRCC states only requires the following with regard to the passport:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Document requirements
  • A clear and legible copy of the biographical data page of a passport or travel document must be provided.
Individuals who must submit this documentation
  • The principal applicant
  • Their spouse or common-law partner
  • Their accompanying dependent children
You don't even have to upload the blank pages. However, some applicants have mentioned issues when they did not upload blank pages or stamped pages. Also, I believe that there has been an update in the post ITA application wherein IRCC requires the stamped pages of the passport. The reason why they have started asking to look into the travel history, and if that is the case then, the old passport will be helpful too. However, the travel history of only last 10 years is looked into, so if your current passport is 9 years old, then you can leave the old passport out, but if your current passport is just 1-2 years old, and you have arrival and departure stamps in the old passport, then you might as well upload that too.

Since it is not a requirement to upload the old passport, you need not do it. If you still want to go ahead and do it, you can raise a CSE and upload it there. Either way, it is not matter, may help in your quicker BGC.
