Refresh party is not over, get ready for the best, hope draw happens today or tomorrow and CRS would come down for sure ))) :)

As per Nominations, Ontario is processing faster than before but Nova Scotia processes all the application received during 3-4 months, so for the result it needs at least 3 months.

All the best everyone and keep your heads up! :)

Hi Tanaka,

Just wondering, based on what´s highlighted I will need to get my supervisor´s signature and include it in the letter. I have two questions here, they may have been discussed in other threads but I just want to confirm:

  • Does this apply to previous employers as well? For the ones I´m claiming experience that is? What if the supervisor refuses to provide his signature?
  • Regarding my current job, if I tell my supervisor that this is for immigration purposes he will, for obvious reasons, believe that I intend to leave the company. What do you suggest in this case? I don´t want to lie to my employer.

Thanks in advance.
Hi,

You can either get the letter from HR or your supervisor/manager. If it is from HR they only need to mention the supervisor's name. There is no need for their signature.

1) Yes, the above applies to all the experience you are claiming points for, this may be both current and old.
2) This is a challenge that some people face but it is a standard IRCC requirement, therefore you must make all efforts to submit this letter in the correct format. You must find a smart and polite way of requesting for it.

All the best

According to Ahmed Hussein target for Express Entry PR applicants for the year is set to be 80,000 for this year. Taking account of 40% decline rate it can be assumed that this year CIC will issue 112,000 ITA. Until now 50,751 ITA are issued and till may only 16,630 applicants applied for PR with PNP candidates being 13% and Other Streams representing 87%.

Despite giving incentives and relaxing score limits, the number of applications for PR is much lower. However, 22,366 ITA is not expired yet with the possibility of 13,000 applicants accepting ITA (Total to date = 16,630 + 13000 = 29630 / 50751 = 58% acceptance or 42% declining rate). In this case, we need at least 16 more draws between 3,500 -3,800.

Nevertheless, if declining rate is reduced to 33% as per prior year then we can expect ITA in the range of 3,400 - 3,600 for the rest of the year.

Finally, Expected Draw dates for the rest of year is as follow:

July 12th & 26th (CRS Scores Expected = 436 & 421 +/- 2)
August 2nd, 16th, & 30th (CRS Scores Expected = 415, 411, & 408 +/- 2)
September 6th & 20th
October 4th & 18th
November 1st, 15th, & 29th
December 6th, 13th, & 27th

One extra draw can be conducted in July, Sep or Oct to achieve targets.
Increase in ITAs was a major factor in the decrease in the CRS cut-off thresholds over the last six months. Seven of the 16 Express Entry draws conducted during the first half of this year have seen the minimum CRS score required to obtain an ITA decrease to a record low.

Your calculations are really appreciated, but this is also true, ..read it, thought to share....ROH is really calming the process of waiting...thanks all for motivation and information....

yes, you can show those funds in a statement along with proper letter of explanation stating where these money came from and its belong to you only and readily available all the time during the immigration process.

Congratulations! You deserve it! I am so glad for you!

Keep in touch! :)
I haven't received my nomination yet, my friend :)

@mqamar1994 and I were talking about starting another thread when we all receive ITA to help each other out.

He even graciously offered me a place to stay with his family when I land in Canada :) And that's when he suggested we should have a new thread when we're starting our new life and I said I'm in :)

Awesome!!! Got your nomination today? I think we will be in the same post ita thread after the next draw. It's a bitter sweet feeling knowing that u r guaranteed to receive an ita the next draw. You are elated that you're in, but you miss the adrenaline rush you get refreshing cic website every 30 seconds.
You misunderstand, my friend!

I was saying "I'm in" in response to something @mqamar1994 said about keeping in touch even after landing in Canada :)

I haven't received my nomination yet.

wow! so are you accepting the NOI?
I will like to wait until late August or mid September to check out the trend. I am pretty hopeful that CRS cut-off will hit my score segment in September, Mmeanwhile I also have an IELTS test scheduled by the end of this month. Let's see how it all goes.
